Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Education, Food, Food Programs, Human Service Organizations, Human Services, Nutrition
Target demographics: Working through local school districts and community partners, we work to better the lives of underprivileged children in our community. We work with superintendents, district leadership, individual school principals, and other community organizations to identify potential partnership programs that best support the children of Kansas City.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 1,000 School Age Children
Geographic areas served: We are a nonprofit organization, whose mission is to bring volunteers together to make a difference for Kansas City kids by delivering food, clothing, books and the support they need today to build a better tomorrow.
Programs: Too many children fall through the cracks. Too many children go to bed hungry at night. Too many children don’t have warm winter coats. Too many children can’t read because there is no one to help them, often through no fault of their own or that of their caretakers. They are simply overwhelmed with the most basic necessities of life and there’s nothing more to give. With your help we can change that, one child at a time.
