I have had the privilege to work and donate to the make it count foundation for a couple years. There dedication and commitment to orphans as well as those in need is awe inspiring. I like the fact the are small, because I know every dollar I donate will be used for actual needs and not overhead. I also love the fact they encourage involvement and interaction within there projects. So you can have the opportunity to actually meet the children and people you are supporting. I can't say enough, of how great they are.

Causes: Human Service Organizations, Human Services
Mission: Our Mission is to find ways that offer sustainable solutions to poor living conditions, health concerns and educational needs, while using local nationals as often as possible to improve the general well being in the community being served.
Results: In Tanzania our project is called Small Steps for Compassion which is a recognized NGO. We currently provide free water to our community and have built an orphanage that will house 20 girls. In Roatan we have helped build two medical clinics. We currently provide support for a preschool and an elementary school on the island.
Target demographics: Orphans as well as the medical and educational needs in the area.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 110 students in Roatan. Free water for a community. Built an orphanage for 20 girls.
