PVA in Central Florida is a tremendous asset for our communities. They have build life long relatiionships through supporting our Champions Ride for Charities event every Fall, by supporting us with their volunteers, their funds and their expertise in the wounded warrier world. They have helped our community understand the asset that PVA is for a community and helped us relate to the heros that are their members. Thank you CFCOVA!! Brian Bacon

This Charity does excellent work and really makes a positive difference in the lives of the paralyzed veterans of America. They actually also assist many others whenever they can who may not be veterans bur are paralyzed. I had the opportunity to volunteer in the Wheelchair games they organized in Central Florida in 2018. What an amazing experience. There were over 600 veterans from all over America (in fact worldwide), who took part, The happiness on their faces was just incredible. Thank you for all that you do.

This organization is solid and works hard to honor the intent of the donor with every dollar it receives. Paralyzed veterans are their number one priority and they provide services to help them live the best quality of life possible.

Paralyzed Veterans of America Central Florida Chapter is a veterans organization that actually helps veterans. Unlike many other veterans organizations, this veterans organization helps paralyzed veterans navigate through the maze of the benefits provided by the Veterans Administration, provides current information about the benefits to which they are entitled and offers multiple opportunities giving them a better quality of life despite their disability. This chapter specifically offers a wide variety of programs that directly serves the veteran. Over 90% of every dollar donated to this organization are used to fund direct service related programming.

My experience with the people from this non profit has been life saving. I have a t8 sci and have been injured for close to 20 yrs. I've recently moved to Orlando and have been helped with resources, event opportunities, and information to assist in navigating Orlando as a wheelchair user. My quality of life is much better because of this non profit's actions to show, not just say how they can help. I will continue to post great things about this nonprofit. My initial goal is to educate this nonprofit is second to none. I thank you so much for all your help and guidance during these tough times. I sincerely thank you!

I had the awesome opportunity to help out with a powerlifting event yesterday in Oviedo, Florida. Being a little biased because I love powerlifting, it was more than a great time to meet another veteran whom has served our country and also enjoys the sport of powerlifting like myself. Together, we worked to get him through the competition with a successful benchpress of 203lbs and will work together to push him way past that in the near future. I also got the chance to go over the various aspects of the sport and learn a bit about one Johnny Alexander himself. A good spirited man, a great sport cheering for everyone to take the platform, and my favorite, another lifter eager to learn and push further at 72 years young! Charlie does a great job at putting things together to help facilitate events like this and that is a priceless commodity for any program to have. He's got the brains and motivation to make great things happen for this charity and these men and women well deserve that. It's an all around great experience for those that get involved.

Ever since my father became a quadriplegic 2 years ago, the Central Florida Chapter PVA has been giving him hope, purpose and helping our family in every way possible. I don't know where we would be without them. After volunteering for them at multiple events, they always show their gratitude through thankful words, dinners and even sending me a card on my birthday!
The Central Florida Chapter has always made me and my family feel at home as soon as we walk in there doors.
They gave me and my family help and hope when we needed it most.

I have been volunteering at this PVA for almost 2 years now. My husband broke his neck in Aug. 2014 & without the help of the PVA we would have had no idea the programs available to help given our situation.
No one pictures themselves needing the support we are now in need of and without the amazing people at the PVA we wouldn't have known where to turn.
This is a great nonprofit that assist many people.

The support I have received from the Central FL chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America has been crucial in my recovery process. I received assistance with getting benefits and my medical needs met at the local VA clinic. I am proud to support the chapter by volunteering my time as a board member and supporting PVACF events.

Without the help And Assistance of the Paralyzed Veterans of America specifically the Central Florida Chapter I would've had a very difficult time navigating the VA healthcare system. There help was essential in my recovery of the spinal cord injured veteran. I have since done my best to give back to this organization as a board member and as a member.
