I have seen over the years how E2E has taken a thoughtful 360 approach to understand the lived experiences of rural Honduran youth. Not only are they bridging the gap between primary and secondary school, but they are elevating the status of rural adolescent girls as they become trained to lead poverty-fighting initiatives while receiving an education.
Listening to the stories and looking at the faces of these teenagers reminds you of the power that education and a support network for success have to transform a person's life and community.
This is an outstanding organization that has been able to build a sustainable business model to transform secondary education on rural areas where it was not an option impacting hundreds of children and their families.
E2E is one of most innovative non-profits I have ever donated to and worked with. Their mission to empower youth in rural Honduras is done through the creation of opportunities. They are helping improve the lives of their students, and this is having a ripple effect throughout the communities where they work.
Educate2Envision (E2E) builds secondary schools in rural areas of Honduras where only primary school is available. In the last decade, they’ve built 16 schools, giving more than 1,000 students access to secondary education for the first time.
E2E is a tremendous organization providing access to secondary school for vulnerable youth in the most under-served parts of Honduras. Their mission-focused, forward thinking approach includes an emphasis on sustainability, entrepreneurship, and community service. E2E is making a real difference in the lives of young people, setting them up for success.
E2E gave me the opportunity to uplift a community of children that go unnoticed, in the mountains of Honduras near Tegucigalpa! Thank you Katia for finding these children, thank you Katia for allowing me to help these wonderful children!
E2E is the most incredible organization that I have ever worked with. Not only is the founder / team incredibly talented and capable, but the entire organization from top to bottom is a well-oiled machine. E2E recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, and the testimonials from current and former students were incredibly moving, to say the least. I'm excited to see what the organization is able to achieve over the next decade!
I have gone to some of the schools that Educate2Envision has created and talked to some of the students. They told me how grateful they are for the school and for forming them into leaders of the community. How Educate2Envision has given them hope for a better future. Shy students have learned to speak in public. They now can dream and believe it is possible to be a nurse, a teacher, a barista, an accountant, finance to name a few professions that they told me about. They pride themselves on coming up with community projects such as being leaders to the younger children, helping the elderly, creating neighborhood vegetable gardens, keeping the streets clean. All in all making the village a better place to live.
