I don't know much about this program. It has good reviews. I like the title. I do this in honor of Cindy Herman, a young lady from my hometown that passed from this life on Mother's Day 2021 in car accident. She was only 54. In my small hometown, I basically watched her grow up. I remember her mostly as a kindhearted young girl that filled my life with love and joy many years ago. She touched so many peoples lives with her gentle kindness. I will always love her and always remember how full of life she was. I always felt protective of her when she was young and prayed for her when she was growing up. When I see young girls abused, I think of how it would be if it were little Cindy. So again, I do this in Cindy's honor.

My first impression of She Is Safe was great. I attended one of their tour/info sessions and was blown away by the work they have done over the years. The scope of the work they plan to do to continue saving girls is incredible.

I have had the honor of serving as a volunteer for She Is Safe. I am amazed at the work that is being done to prevent girls and women from being victimized by a cycle of abuse and exploitation. This group is educated on the need and willing to do all they can to end this cycle and help the world realize the truly value of every girl and every woman. Great to be a part of an organization like this.

My wife and I were introduced to She Is Safe through the Forgotten Girls book written by the Founder & CEO, Michele Rickett. My wife was preparing to go to India with another non-profit and this was part of her pre-travel preparation. Little did we know that She Is Safe is headquartered in our hometown of Roswell, GA. Upon my wife's return from India, we both started supporting (financially and through volunteer activities) the great work being done by She Is Safe to prevent, rescue and restore girls and women from the sex trafficking travesty in the worlds most challenging countries for females (India, China, Indonesia, Nepal, Mali, South Sudan, Myanmar & the Middle East). She Is Safe is providing FREEDOM for girls and women to reach their full potential and experience the love of God firsthand. The impact equation is pretty simple, more charitable contributions enable She Is Safe to IMPACT more girls. For example, She Is Safe has a new initiative in Indonesia called Pantaloons and Protections that has the potential to prevent an incremental 100,000 girls from being lured into the sex tourist industry by providing school aged girls with tips to safety, a hotline for help, and underthings (Pantaloons) for little girls. This wonderful opportunity needs $1 million in donations to impact 100,000 little girls or $10 per girl. This is just one example of how She Is Safe is making a difference, in the name of Christ, for girls in some of the worlds most challenging environments. I encourage you to join this cause, because every girl matters!

I have been involved with She Is Safe since 2015 after I read Michele Rickett's book Forgotten Girls. Having toured their home office and volunteered for them, I can honestly say their work with women and girls is done with integrity and genuine respect and care. When you support this organization, be assured that you are bringing restoration and renewal to vulnerable girls in the least reached places of our world.

She Is Safe (SiS) is a ministry founded by Michelle Rickett to help girls in several countries (India, Indonesia, Mali, Nepal, to name a few) escape sexual abuse and exploitation and also learn life skills to help them provide for themselves and their children, particularly daughters, as well. An essential part of this ministry is giving hope thru the gospel of Jesus Christ in order to restore these girls and women, emotionally and spiritually, from the harm that life has thrust upon them. SiS raises funds and provides support for both in-country directors/ teachers as well as educating and rescuing those most vulnerable to the sex trade industry. Michelle and all the staff are passionate in their care and compassion for these that have no voice; the money raised is well-spent on ministry efforts. I have given monetarily for several years and have volunteered weekly for the last several months at SiS. It is truly a place where Christ's love for those "forgotten and used" is evident. I would heartily endorse this ministry to anyone

She Is Safe does a wonderful job of addressing not just the end result of abuse and human trafficking but the root causes as well. The organization communicates clearly about how donors and volunteers can help and the specific impact that donations can have. Employees and volunteers are passionate and compassionate and are doing incredible work around the world to protect and restore vulnerable women and girls.

I love She is Safe for the holistic way they minister to rescued girls. Just getting someone out of a bad situation is okay but when you train them with work & life skills as well as give them hope for the future, then you're adding another whole dimension!

More than a job, it is a deep personal calling for everyone involved to prevent, rescue and restore in the lives of each precious girl that SIS is able to reach. This was my first impression as I walked in for my first day as a volunteer and in my opinion, this is what makes the work of SIS so incredibly effective. Pictures of young girls telling stories of hope and unspeakable strength line the hallways. SIS will continue to work faithfully for every new picture added to the wall. I am so blessed to whiteness what God is doing through this organization!

I first learned of this organization about 10 years ago when the founder, Michele Rickets spoke at my church and told some of her firsthand accounts of how She Is Safe had reached out to the most poor, oppressed women and people of the world. My husband and I had tears streaming down our faces and were so moved we wrote a check for $1,000 to She Is Safe. Through the years we have continued to support SIS financially though we haven't been able to do so as generously due to the economy. Nevertheless, I have received hand written notes from Michele, the founder of SIS. I have even been invited to meet with staff members personally to thank me for my support and update me on their efforts. As little as $1 a day can provide the necessities for a woman or child. SIS does a great job of keeping me updated on how my donations are being used and the progress being made. I am amazed at how so little can go so far to help the lowest of the low in this world which is a testament to the wise use of resources by SIS. I am so thankful that there are such selfless people who are willing what I give to go to the ends of the earth to minister to the most unreached, uncared for people in the world. If you want to make a real difference in the world, I can't think of a better organization to carry out your wishes!
