Volunteering for this organization has been a pleasure and I can't wait to see what else they come up with. I love the excitement, fight and the drive that everyone has within the Fighting 4 the Tatas Organization. I am especially excited to be working on the Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC) Campaign. It has been informative and meaningful for I did not know there were different types of breast cancer(s), let alone a fast moving breast cancer, called IBC. To all who comes across this post: If you have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer make sure you FORCE your doctors to tell you what type of cancer it is. This way you can better follow your doctors treatment plan and just understand what's going on with your body. Please visit this organization and do your own research.

I have volunteered with Fighting for the Tatas and I can truly vouch for the tireless work this organization does!
I have been inspired beyond my own belief by the work of Joshlyn Earls for this cause which affects us all.
The number of women diagnosed
with Inflammatory Breast Cancer is a growing rapidly. As such is the number of husbands, sons and daughters, grandchildren, nieces and nephews who will shed tears because of this horrific disease.
I salut Joshlyn and all those who stand and FIGHT with her, and for her, and millions of other women!!!
This month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Instead of just wearing pink, show your support by making a donation, volunteering, liking on Facebook, and spreading the word about Fighting 4 The Tatas!
Start fighting today.
God bless

Awesome work led by a dedicated power-house in the fight! Joshlyn Earls works tirelessly for the organization and for those diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer. Her outreach in the area of education has reached so many others who would not have learned of this deadly breast cancer!

Joshlyn Earls, Founder and the backbone of Fighting 4 the Tatas, is one of the most amazing women I have met in my eleven years of IBC (Inflammatory Breast Cancer) advocacy. Along the way of fighting for education both for women and men, but especially the medical community, I have met many who 'said' they would help. But Joshlyn walks the talk, not just the lip service I had received by too many. When I lost my daughter to IBC in 2007 I thought my world would stop. But it didn't, and I pushed even further, sometimes stepping in where maybe I shouldn't have, to help a woman (and some men) who didn't know where to turn.

In the last few years I have felt my energy lacking in the fight, until I met Joshlyn Earls. A woman not only fighting her own body through the effects of IBC and it's grueling treatments, but fighting for the rights of patients while absorbing everything she could (and is) learning about how to teach others about IBC. Joshlyn is also learning (sometimes the hard way) how inadequate our medical system is when it comes to their knowledge of this disease some would like to call rare, but it really isn't. What is rare are physicians who actually understand the symptoms and treat early and 'properly' so they can save their patients.

With Joshlyn and Fighting 4 The Tatas Breast Cancer Organization, I have tremendous faith that IBC will be put on the 'front' burner instead of the 'back burner' where it has been for too long.

Please help this woman and her organization as they go forward in an honest and open way to help others in need.

The work that this organization is doing is inspiring. The dedication to the cause goes far beyond raising money, it goes right to the heart of the affects of breast cancer and helps the individuals whose lives are being directly affected by breast cancer. The transparency of the organization and where the donated money goes provides a calm relief in knowing that the people who work in this organization actually care about the work that they are doing and the millions of people being affected by breast cancer.

My wife was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer and this organization helped us find it. They helped because they knew the right questions to ask. We met them last year at a powder puff game in Rialto and when my wife was diagnosed with an infection of the breast she remembered to give them a call and we are so glad she did. The doctors mis diagnosed her with an infection but something wasn't right about it and she was determined to find out. Once she made the call, a young lady (cannot remember her name) answered the phone and asked my wife a few questions, such as 1. Was her breast red? 2. Did they hurt? 3. Has she seen any difference in the temperature of her breast (meaning did they feel hot and warm, almost as if they were burning?), needless to say all of my wife answers were Yes. She then proceeded to tell my wife to go back to her doctor or find another doctor and have them rule out IBC short for Inflammatory Breast Cancer, and 1 month later, tests came back saying IBC. Thank you fighting 4 the tatas for helping my family. If we hadn't of made that call my wife may not be here today.

My name is Candice and I went to three hospitals in pain and they told me I had an infection and was given a pain pill called Norco. Only when I went to the fourth hospital, Arrowhead Regional Medical Hospital was I told that it was not an infection but it was Breast Cancer. I was in so much pain and did not understand what was happening to me, and I did not want to hear anything from any one. All I wanted was to stop the pain. Then in January, 2014 I met a lady that did not baby me, she just came right out and told me that I was going to die before my 30th birthday if I did not listen to her. She carried me from the hospital to lunch and really talked to me like I was her daughter for she could relate to me because she was a breast cancer patient herself and we had the same type Inflammatory Breast Cancer. Ms. Joshlyn stayed with me, she went to every appointment I had, talked to my doctors for me, paid for bus rides, lunch, gave me a wig and talked with my mother and my male friend for me because emotionally I could not bear it. During this time my finances were not the best and needed to pay an electric bill and her organization paid it for me. They call me every month to see how I am doing. Thank you Ms. Joshlyn and Fighting 4 the Tatas for everything you have done for me, for if you all did not enter into my life when you did, I don’t know where I would be.

This organization is refreshing. I donated money to them, and they disclosed exactly where and why they needed it. They were honest and humbled and truly believe that every penny counts. There is still some integrity within our non-profit world and Fighting 4 the Tatas is on that list. I feel confident in continuing to supporting them to get the word out about IBC and other aggressive breast cancers and donate money when I can. I also will tell all of my friends to pay close attention to this organization and help when they can.

This is a great grass roots charity that serves an unmet need in the community of those that are affected by this particular breast cancer.

tenacious...
Holding together; cohesive; not easily pulled asunder; tough. This describes Mrs. Joshlyn Earls, since her diagnosis with inflammatory breast cancer she has become a tenacious advocate to others, especially women of color, in her crusade against breast cancer. She's faced her fight head-on and haven't looked back, she's determined to learn everything about her type of breast cancer so she can educate others. And believe me, she's not one to be challenged because she's not afraid to fight back even to the medical profession. Joshlyn my prayers are with you and keep fighting on for your life.

Fighting 4 the tatas is a wonderful, very informative and well run organization. Joshlyn Earls is to be commended on her knowledge and grasp on the subject of cancer, especially breast cancer. I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of my breast cancer support groups. She sat and listened to me patiently and gave me advice and guidance that truly has helped me to deal with this debilatating disease of breast cancer. She, herself, is fighting this dreadful disease and yet she gives of herself and time to counsel and help others. I would recommend this organization to anyone fighting cancer, both woman and men.

I had the opportunity of meeting Mrs. Joshlyn about a year ago. She has a great spirit even though she is going through IBC. I started volunteering to help fighting4thetatas because I believe in the cause and feel that everyone should be educated on the different types of Breast Cancer that's out there. I have never heard of IBC, but after working with Mrs. Joshlyn I have learned a lot about this deadly disease. This organization was the best thing that anyone could have started and I know in my heart they are going places. Joshlyn has the will as well as the knowledge to educate people on IBC and I'm proud of her for stepping out just on faith for her foundation. Since speaking & working with her I can now educate my daughter as well as my sons on this dangerous disease. I'm praying that we get more people interested in helping to educate others on IBC.

I have never seen a more dedicated organization. I have been a volunteer since the beginning and I have witness the founder, Joshlyn, with me in tow drive to speak at different health events all while she is fighting inflammatory breast cancer. Fighting 4 The Tatas is doing exceptional work with no money, they are truly advocates for inflammatory breast cancer and for those affected by breast cancer in general. I applaud the efforts of this organization.

Joshlyn Earls is a god send! I met her when I was in the infusion room at Arrowhead Hospital. My mother was undergoing chemo treatment and in walks through the door, a bright smiled person with the spirit that could move the heavens. If it wasn't for Joshlyn, we would not have known that my mother was actually suffering from IBC and to make sure that my mothers treatment plan was according to IBC and not the other types of breast cancer, because IBC is treated differently. My ignorance, I thought Breast Cancer was Breast Cancer, but that wasn't the truth. The doctors didn't go into detail about the type of Breast Cancer, maybe because they didn't want to or we didn't know the right questions to ask. I always say we were at the right place and the right time, because after we met Joshlyn we were more equipped and empowered to stand up to my mothers doctors. And the kicker is, Joshlyn was undergoing treatment at the time we met. When she walked into the room she was actually receiving chemo treatment for her Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC) As she was trying to help others get information she was also going through the same agonizing pain I was seeing my mother go through and other women. I would stand by this women and her organization because they care about the people and care that the people are getting the right treatment and that more people know about IBC.

No words can express how grateful of this organization. I recently met Fighting 4 the Tatas Breast Cancer Org at a health fair in the southern California region not to long ago and I have to say I was impressed. They informed me of so much that I did not realize. From the different types of breast cancer to the more aggressive breast cancers such as Inflammatory Breast Cancer and how young women are actually being diagnosed with IBC more and more. As a young women I am scared at the very thought of being diagnosed with Breast Cancer yet alone one that is silently killing women primary due to the delayed diagnoses which is IBC. The genuine concern that the representatives of Fighting 4 the Tatas had for me and the other ladies that I was with was comforting.

Fighting 4 the Tatas Breast Cancer Organization, promoting Inflammatory Breast Cancer awareness. (IBC) the "Silent Killer" is a rare and aggressive subtype of locally advanced breast cancer. Even though the survival outcome have improved significantly, with 15-year survival rates of 20% to 30% reported; however despite this progress, most women in whom IBC is diagnosed eventully experience a recurrence and die from this disease. Fighting 4 the Tatas promotes to the media, communities, to and to medical clinics awareness of Inflammatory Breast Cancer, promoting breast cancer health awareness though education. Going that extra mile, facilitating emotional and temporary financial support to women, men and their families enduring/undergoing breast cancer treatment.

Fighting 4 The Tatas places it focus on what makes (IBC) Inflammatory Breast Cancer different from other types of breast cancer. Mainly because it can easily be misdiagnosed, misterpreted and/or treated incorrectly because IBC can be a tricky disease to treat. This web site has reliable information and resources for guidance with financial help and insight on this sometimes deadly disease.

Fighting 4 The Tatas, President/Founder, Joshlyn Earls; an IBC survivor and warrior, empowering women and men with information, letting them know that you "do not" have to have a lump to have breast cancer. IBC has no confined lump but covers the breast in flat sheets or nests and travel to other part of the body and mammograms will not detect IBC.
