Mission: The orinda association is dedicated to maintaining and improving the quality of life in orinda, promoting awareness and encouraging dialogue among orinda residents on issues of importance to the community, and mobilizing volunteer efforts to enhance the beauty, character and security of orinda
Programs: Orinda news: publication of a monthly newspaper that is distributed free of charge to 8000 orinda households and businesses that provides information about local activities, events, businesses and individuals.
fourth of july: organization and presentation of orinda's fourth of july parade through the main streets of orinda and the celebration at the orinda community center. This provides residents the opportunity to come together as a community to march in the parade or watch as it goes by. Post parade games, music and food available in the park draws 4000-5000 residents
seniors around town: the senior ride share program provides transportation for orinda seniors who are no longer independently able to transport themselves to medical appointments and other errands away from home. Transportation is provided by volunteer orinda drivers.
