Mission: At CASA for Kids, our mission is to promote the best interests of children in abuse and neglect cases by providing court appointed special advocate (CASA) volunteers in care and protection proceedings under Chapter 48 of the Wisconsin State Statutes. Our vision is "We believe that all children have a right to be safe and have their voices heard."
Results: We have served 254 children in the past 5 years and are currently serving 37 with a waitlist of over 100 children.
Target demographics: children from abuse and neglect in open child protection cases
Direct beneficiaries per year: 40 children with over 100 on our waitlist
Geographic areas served: La Crosse, Monroe, Vernon counties
Programs: volunteer-based child advocacy in court
