AMELIA'S CLOSET - a clothier of hope

Exceeded my expectations with their thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and efforts in creating an encouraging experience for women.

This amazing work could not be accomplished without the help of so many wonderful volunteers and donors. Although the concept is simple, the impact is beyond amazing as these women see themselves, many for the first time, as God sees them!

This is truly one of the most hands on organizations. Every women who visits is treated with utmost respect and dignity. I've met women from all walks of life and each of them has touched my life in such a positive way.

A great nonprofit for our community. It’s multi-faceted reach has impacted those in need as well as those wanting to serve or give back.

The faces of the clients tell their own story. As they walk in many are just starting to rebuild their lives. There is uncertainty about the future. Once the ladies have been assisted with clothing for job interviews, you begin to see a change come over their face. The uncertainty is replaced with hope.

Not only is this non profit a huge blessing to our clients, but a bigger blessing to me- seeing the faces of our clients as they come in and the huge difference when they leave

Amelia’s Closet does a great job focusing on the emotional, spiritual, and physical elevation of women who desperately need it. There work is done with personalization impacting the clients identification and satisfaction.

As a supporter, I know this organization to be doing good and necessary work in the community. They have a clear focus, excellent processes and strong engagement from businesses, individuals and organizations who support their work. We have seen lives changed because of the individual attention and provisions from Amelia's Closet. AS the need grows, so has their ability to grow, expand and offer even more women a fresh start and a new wardrobe.

Amelia's closet is not only helping lots of well deserving women, they are also helping our community. Decreasing unemployment and recidivism. They give women hope and increased self worth.

Having the opportunity to volunteer at Amelia's Closet has been such a rewarding experience. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning from Mrs. Jody Powers and Mrs. Candy Russell. They are passionate about helping their clients, and setting them up for success. The compassion they show towards these women in need is truly heartwarming.

I have volunteered and worked with many nonprofits as a staff and board member. The Board and all-volunteer staff of Amelia’s Closet truly are shining stars. They are diligent in their governance and finances and perform their mission with passion and perseverance. I am so very proud to be associated with them.

I’m pleased to be able to give gently used clothes to this nonprofit. Amelia’s Closet helps women in our community return to the work force with confidence. I m glad for the vision of Amelia’s Closet.

This amazing charity gives hope to women who have lost their way and are starting fresh by providing clothing, shoes and accessories that enable them to stand tall and proud as they interview for jobs! To see these women first walk through Amelia's Closet door, their body language tells their story before they ever speak a word! And then to see them as they leave with a bag of their chosen outfits with a smile and their head held high with hope, it is beyond heartwarming! Amelia's Closet has helped many woman with clothing and accessories but the most important touch is the personal attention and encourage that each woman receives.

As one who has advised and strategies with the leaders it is an amazing passion that drives them to make a significant impact in the clients.

The volunteers display an amazing amount of compassion and optimism that permeates the entire process. Truly an organization changing lives one at a time.
