Direct beneficiaries per year: over 2,500 families living in the Tri-County communities.
Geographic areas served: Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties
Programs: Whether it’s one single service provided like food or financial assistance or years of walking through hardship, our team will encourage, advocate, and develop a system of support focused on helping our neighbors navigate through life’s challenges.
All programs and services strive to help neighbors find a path toward opportunity. ECCO’s ministry of “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” aims to improve the quality of life in our community in a compassionate way that respects the dignity and worth of every person.
ECCO operates with compassion and determination to provide support and help to individuals and families in poverty. The organization adapts to meet the changing needs of the community and offers hope to our less fortunate neighbors. The programs at ECCO incorporate the "teach a man to fish" philosophy through a number of empowerment initiatives that aim to inspire and impact their clients.
