Causes: Human Service Organizations, Human Services
Mission: To support and unite parents with children who require critical care in life threatening-situations.
Results: As of year-end 2020, we have helped 255 families through the Patient Assistance Program, and assisted another 150 families with Pandemic Emergency Aid.
Target demographics: families of children with serious illnesses, most of whom have cancer.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 200 families
Geographic areas served: The Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital
Programs: The Jillian Fund Patient Assistance Program, which provides financial assistance to families of children with serious illnesses, and The Jillian Fund Social Work program, which provides funding for a part-time social work position.
