Pointer Pantry makes it so easy to give with the "round up" - it doesn't matter if it is a few cents or most of a dollar - when we round up it goes to the Pointer Pantry Pot. I can do it as often as I want and no filling out donation papers that puts my name on some mailing list. I so trust Jeff because of his years of dedication to our community and how much time and effort he puts into trying to keep our little town safe and secure. He lives Kindness.

Pointer pantry is amazing at feeding families in need. The community is so grateful and has donated generously and volunteered. Our local grocery store provides the food based on their certificate THEN requests reimbursement. Such a smooth, easy, and private program. So valuable for needy and at risk students. I give often and am happy to.
Pointer Pantry helps those in our school district not go hungry. We know that having a full belly truly helps learning and by helping those who are hungry Pointer Pantry is helping our community for the better.
When we moved into the community a few years ago, I learned of this charity through a round up program at our local grocer. This is very responsive program with a ton of community buy-in and support, from the roundups to other fundraisers, to independent donors, this program really means something to this community, and we want it to succeed. The number of families served is amazing for such a small town. Their responsiveness has been even more crucial during Covid-19 shutdowns. The leadership is honest and transparent in their reporting, and they continually look for ways to expand support for school children and families in our community. I cannot say enough about how important this nonprofit is to us!
I have watched this organization grow from inception to the successful community organization it is today. It is supported by many individuals and organizations in the community. It provides a needed service while preserving the identities of those needing help. Supporters and supported lift each other up and maintain everyone's dignity.
My friend helps run this for all Mineral Point citizens that need help before and during this pandemic. This organization helps children and families in need of help with groceries.
Pointer Pantry is a local non profit that benefits our students at our local school. As a kindergarten teacher, I have experienced the gratitude from families who receive weekly gift certificates to our local grocery. Many times families will return to school for their certificates if their child is ill or has forgotten to take it home. This exemplifies the exceptional needs that are being met. Food insecurity is real and this group helps to care for our children and families!
Pointer Pantry has assisted my students and their families in securing the food they need to be great learners.
As an educator, I am forever grateful for the Pointer Pantry that helps feed and support my students and their families. I am thankful for the hard work and commitment of the volunteers that make this amazing work happen. We are truly blessed.
