Mission: OUR MISSION IS TO PRESERVE AND SUPPORT THE PARARESCUE COMMUNITY. The Pararescue Foundation is the only entity dedicated to exclusively support US Air Force Pararescue and Combat Rescue Officer service members, veterans and their families. United States Air Force Pararescuemen, also known as “PJs,” and their Combat Rescue Officer leaders are the only US force specifically trained and equipped to execute the most dangerous and technical rescue operations worldwide. Regardless of enemy threat or environmental conditions, these elite warriors WE EXECUTE OUR MISSION GUIDED BY THREE GOALS: • Relieve the physical and psychological demands of service • Provide tragedy, transition, and education assistance • Honor the commitment and sacrifice of those who live by the motto: “That Others May Live”
Target demographics: Support our U.S. Air Force Pararescue and Combat Rescue Officer service members, veterans and their families.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 192 people with our Resiliency Services, 6 people with Transition support, and 159 people with our Legacy preservation support
Geographic areas served: support of the Pararescue community where ever they may be.
Programs: 1) Resiliency services that relieve the physical and psychological demands of service, 2) Providing tragedy, transition, and education assistance, 3) Legacy preservation services that honor the commitment and sacrifice of those who live by the motto: "These things we do, that others may live"
