Mission: Matthews Athletics & Recreation Association (MARA) is a volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and competitive athletic experience to all children in the greater Charlotte area. MARA believes in the principles of fair play, ethical behavior, and equal opportunity to ensure every child has an enjoyable recreation outlet. Through the gift of athletics, MARA helps athletes to reach their full potential by learning sportsmanship, integrity, teamwork, and responsibility. We offer Baseball, Softball, Football, Flag Football, and Cheer at various competition levels. Additionally, MARA is proud of its Bambino Buddy Ball program, a Baseball program designed for individuals ages 5-20 with cognitive and/or physical differences.
