EOTO World

In 2011, I worked for EOTO World where I had so much fun working with Elischia as we facilitated various online forums on peace, MDG goals and human rights issues through online mediums such as Vokle. I learned so much from Elischia. She was a great mentor and passionate human rights activist. Working at EOTO World provided me a great opportunity not only to learn and gain deeper understanding about several key social and global issues, but also to organize forums on them to connect with people all over the world and promote social awareness to create a positive change. My experience with EOTO World strengthened my passions for human rights which influenced me to chose the career I have right now as a Human Rights Investigator/Compliance Monitor. I am so proud of all the advancements EOTO World has made in the past years and as it moves forward to a brighter future! Kudos and all the best!

I had a great experience on the global day of citizen action held by Julieta a member of Eoto World.
The event was really innovative in terms of raise awarenes about our responsability as citizens in our communities .
I was able to have a better comprehension of some concepts and different social and civic issues in my neighbourhood. Julieta was professional, clear in her expressions and humble to explain as many times as we needed.

In August i went to a meeting held in a friend´s house , were i was participating of a little workshop about how to impact in a positive way with best ecological practices on our environment. Julieta was in charge of the talk, giving explanations,tips and a very interesting amount of info about how to keep a "ecofriendly" house and living as she said. I learnt that we can do A LOT , and we do not need to do so much efforts , only have the right information and know about some procedures and tips.

It was very very entertaining and educative for me as it was my 2nd time attempting to compost but i failed . Julieta explained to us how to do it in a small scale basis so we can gain confidence in get to have better comprehension of the systems and processes. So i started now my own practices and so far i am doing good ,and i did not failed as before. So Happy !

I am a social worker and i was in the global day of citizen action with Julieta from Eoto , it was very important for me to have the chance to participate in this kind of activities.
It was like a workshop ,that Julieta proposed to think deeply about our roles as citizens in civil society and how we impact over it .
The dialogues that came up after Julieta´s speech were very enriching and i felt there is a lot to do , we need more people get engaged as Julieta and organizations like Eoto that stay with regular citizens and try to listen to what we think and the problems we have ! It was a very recommendable experience and a way to know more like minded people.
After the event i checked about eoto and i am impressed about the "step by step" movement they do, they move one by one and teach one by one , and i think is great, before this meeeting i thought education ,movilizations, protest or whatever needed to be massive . After this event i think we can do a difference one by one .

A friend of mine invited me to a meeting organized by Eoto through a young women that made a great job for the global day of citizen action , it was a proposal from other ngo called Civicus, so Eoto brought to us a very useful experience about how we can make a difference as citizens not only in our communities but also worldwide.

This young lady explained in a clear and easy way the concepts that were involved and also she made us thought deeply about our realities and how to impact our societes from ground.

I heard about the organization through Julieta , she is volunteering with the ong and doing some activities here. I am university student and what impressed me more about the ong Eoto and Julieta was the way they approach sensitive issues as peace and human rights but in a very dynamic and practical way. And also they hear what people have to say!! Which i consider to be very important in these days that organizations only look for statistics . So in that sense i think Eoto and Julieta are doing a great job ,like artisans of peace :).

I was invited by Julieta to assist to the event she held about sustainable living and culture of peace, it was a pretty interesting activity and very practical ,we had a lot of information from Julieta about how to carry on small sustainable actions at home and in our neighbourhoods. It was very interesting and informative as well. I feel satisfied i had the chance to participate and meet other people like Julieta involved in making the world a better place.

Julieta from Eoto organization, held a small event about sustainable living. She invited a small group of people to participate in a meeting in which we had the opportunity to get in contact with very useful and simple ideas on how to get sustainable in our daily lives. We learnt about composting, reducing carbono emissions, she also told us about the mdg of United Nations and how Eoto was involved in create capacity building towards a more peaceful and sustainable world.
I was surprised for good because i had the idea in my mind that going green was something difficult to do in my life , but after participating in this activity i decided to start my own composting at home and to reduce the use of plastic and i also realized that it is something achievable and this is very imprtant for me , because i can measure in by my own the differences and the impact. This is something that i was not too aware before having this activty.

Congratulations on Eoto and to Julieta for keep things simple and achievable for anyone.

I have been working with Eoto since 2012 as volunteer , started as peacebuilder and now i am the coordinator for POP program ( People of peace ) within the organization.
Working with Eoto and Elischia has provided me one of the most enriching experiences i have had volunteering. I have been able to get a deeper understanding of my field of interest which is peace, which has lead me to improve myself in the way i deliver and provide capacity building and services as volunteer as well.

Elischia is a very committed person, her passion ,knowledge and leadership are essential to this organization and to us. She interacts and works closely with us and manage herself to make everything easier for us!

I am working as a Consultant close to a year in EOTO World.
Elischia has great commitment, passion towards building up this non profit organization and extend its reach to more people. She regularly interacts with all of us to make sure all of our times are utilized properly to be a successful non profit. Working with this organization was a pleasure. Elischia Fludd, the founder of this amazing organization was a pleasure to work with. EOTO is a human rights focused organization connecting people and activist around the world by utilziing green technology and minimizing not only the organization's carbon footprint but requesting the same commitment from it's employees and volunteers.

After an application, the first thing I encountered was a warm welcome from the Executive Director, Elischia Fludd. During our conversation, I can sense her great American spirit that truly reflected her organization's mission and vision. I said it was what I was looking for; kindness, great interest for volunteers, and dedication to the organization. Elischia really loves the organization and reflects her hopes and happiness to us, volunteers. I work as a Program Coordinator, but still I want to contribute for more. Elischia has a strong relationship with everyone (is also very caring, supportive, and intelligent individual), which makes us happy because I think a successful organization requires a perfect communication among the team and the director. It is a marvelous opportunity for me, and I know it will last forever.

When I first started a partnership with EOTO World, my first impressions were efficient, professional and very well-organized. It has been a honor working with EOTO World. The founder, Elischia, is one of the smartest, kindest women I have met and she cares very deeply about helping people and her organization.

Of the many nonprofit organizations I have come across, donated to and volunteered for, EOTO World has by far been the most outstanding. Their focus goes above and beyond a simple "fix it" model where people can donate and deduct their contributions. EOTO makes you think about the problems that face the world at large, and bridges the gap between giving and caring. It offers a deeper understanding with respect to the ways in which we all can help and teach one another how to work together. It has often been said that it takes a village, but EOTO World proves that it takes the world to empower and teach a generation to unite for the greater good. Oft times, we as people feel fortunate and blessed within our own lives that we give back to those less fortunate, but EOTO World takes the mission one step further by allowing everyone to reap the benefits of a stronger global world. When we come together, absent the notion of "helping" the less fortunate, we gain more and understand more that we are a world of people who need one another and are dependent upon each other to learn and grow in peace and love. Instead of building walls between different global communities, EOTO builds bridges and opens doors between them, offering a sense of community and family that spans the globe. The lessons they teach, and the values they instill allows us to truly recognize that light shines from both the outside in and the inside out. For these reasons and so many more, EOTO tops my list of necessary nonprofits, because they understand that the "village" is larger than the eye can see and more than the average mind can grasp. Kudos to EOTO World, and its founder for putting together such an organization whose eye is on the bigger prize and whose pulse is in sync with the needs of all people.

I first came across EOTO world as a collaborator in publishing the Rio+20 Toolkit Series for Youth Action on Sustainable Development. I worked closely with the Director to develop and edit the series over several painstaking months and found her expertise invaluable in bringing together elements of the publication, including distributing and sharing it worldwide. EOTO World is a very dynamic and innovative organisation, full of dedicated, passionate and knowledgeable individuals. I think this non-profit has the power to make lasting change across the fields they work on and no doubt has empowered many young people to go out there and be strong advocates for Human Rights, Peace, and Sustainable Development to . With an exceptional leader like Miss Elischia Fludd as Director, this EOTO World can only go from strength to strength! I admire her ethos of working hard and striving for excellence and truth in everything that the organization does. I would love to work with EOTO World again in future projects.

I have met the founder of EOTO World, Miss Elischia Fludd in 2009 at a UNESCO conference. She came across as a strong person with sharp remarks and an endless will to keep on improving herself by always staying critical about the things she says and feels. All of this I find back in Eoto world. The organisations strives to keep you updated and critical. Not by telling you what to think, but by posing questions and links and by organising open spaces where people can respectfully share their viewpoint and have the chance to defend or change it. It is an organisation I hope will stay growing, in order to let more people discuss more topics in a respectfull manner. Through this people will be able to form their opinion more eleborate and have the space to change it without being judged. Keep up the good work!

EOTO World does amazing things w/ the resources it has, I was quite amazed by them when I happened to meet the director at a UN informal meeting on Sustainable Development. The questions posed were always innovative and outside of the box, in addition, EOTO World provided many volunteers w/ opportunities to get involved in various international conferences and events that make youth feel as if they are in fact making a difference. In addition to the above stated, EOTO world is very social media savvy and provide virtual ways for youth to be involved! If you are looking for an innovative, honest organization to work w/ I highly recommend EOTO World.

As someone who saw the creation of EOTO World from the beginning, it is an honor to have been on the Board of the organization. In a short time EOTO World has truly engaged in thought provoking and groundbreaking work. The various projects that were launched by the organization are truly a fresh of breath air from some of the traditional and outdated methods traditional human rights organizations have taken. Most importantly EOTO World stands out for me as someone who has been involved in large human rights organizations for its nuanced, comprehensive, and forward thinking approach. The work of EOTO World is much needed, and explicitly links peace, human rights work, and anti-poverty work together. A great and rewarding experience.

EOTO World is a wonderful organization that has helped many people, not only in the United States, but all over the world. I'm just glad that they are around to help fulfill the needs of the needy and downtrodden. The EOTO World team played a key role in NY+20, a youth-led movement for sustainable development that engaged youth from around the world to create a common platform for action at the UN Conference in Rio de Janeiro in June 2012. The EOTO team promoted the event, collected donations for participants gifts, and organized livestreaming of all speeches and group discussions. Amazing partner!

EOTO World has gone above and beyond, taking on the responsibility to voice the issues of human rights, poverty, peace, and sustainable development around the world. I've developed a relationship with the organization and recognize them as a sobering authority in some of the most serious problems facing our world today.
