Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals, Environment, Environmental Education, Protection of Endangered Species, Wildlife Sanctuaries
Mission: Wildlife rescue, medical care and rehabilitation of native animals; public outreach and education to foster a humane ethic towards wildlife and all animals and encourage conservation and responsible stewardship of the environment and animals. Set an active example of humane care and protection of wildlife and all animals and provide sanctuary to all animals in need of rescue or treatment of abuse or injury.
Programs: Animal protection and welfare; provided wildlife rescue, medical care and rehabilitation, return to the wild or placement for 800 native and domestic birds and mammals. Conducted field rescues, advised public in wildlife encounters, gave medical aid to ailing animals and hospice/rehabilitation care and conditioning for recovery and return to the wild. Gave medical aid and rehabilitation to endangered species of native seabirds.
education purpose: operated year round animal/wildlife telephone helpline, online publications and interactive help through website ad social media forums. Provided consulting and education programs & exhibits to further conservation and responsible stewardship on the environment and animals. Provided consultation and publications to animal agencies, wildlife facilities, publications and schools on wildlife protection and conservation.
