Mission: At 1314 John Outreach Ministry, our mission is to uplift and empower our community through compassionate service.1314 John Outreach Ministry is a faith based outreach program. Our mission is to serve others the same way Jesus came to serve us. We have called to be the hands and feet of Christ. We help the homeless ,people with low income and or poverty stricken people and families with free food and clothing, groceries, housing assistance and bill assistance. Every month we give a free meal and care packages to the homeless around Kokomo, IN. We wish to provide a store program which allow low income people or homeless people can come in to shop at our ministry store. In order to get our ministry bucks they would have to attend meetings, church services, church based groups, community outreach events and classes that equip them with skills and resources to help them with their situations and ultimately graduate our program. Classes or meetings such as AA, anger management, community outreach events, community service, parenting classes, money management, recovery meetings and much more. They would be able to earn ministry bucks to shop at our store. We are also looking to provide free food pantry ,shelters and campgrounds to help elevate the homelessness probably around the state.
Results: Over a 1000 people just last year have gotten assistance with food, clothing, and toiletries.
