They work so hard to maintain the 2
5 acre demonstration garden that the community members, young and old enjoy so much.

This Foundation is the best - it provides a way for low-income families to grow there own food. Build-A-Bed, Feed-A-Family. Instead of giving food donations (which they also do). They provide provide all the materials and construction with the help of the families to build gardening beds. They also provide some tools, seeds and transplants to get started along with a mentor for community gardens that they help establish.
They also have a Demonstration Garden with 25 individual gardens on 2 1/2 acres in Kennewick Washington. From the Demonstration Garden Vegetable Garden, they donated over 5,000 lbs of fresh produce this past year.
They also provide free education seminars and handouts along with tours and working with local schools.

I've been a donor for many years and am now a certified Master Gardener. The group does a fantastic job providing free garden seminars, plant clinics, and general gardening advice, in addition to maintaining a 2.5 acre Demonstration Garden and easing food insecurity in the region through its Community Garden and Plant-a-Row-for-the-Hungry programs. It's amazing what they accomplish.

The Master Gardener Foundation of Benton and Franklin counties does a good job of supporting the Master Gardener program. Raising funds is their primary focus. They help with communication of activities and helping Master Gardeners find the place they want to help. The Foundation also sponsors social activities which build community. Alice Allison

I have learned so much from this organization and have met wonderful people. The most remarkable thing about this organization is the constant thank you remarks that we hear from the public as they walk through the Demonstration Garden.

I am a WSU Master Gardener who has been a volunteer for the Foundation since 2012. We are currently running a Food Garden Drive to raise funds to build another 50 food gardens for low-income families in our communities. If you are interested in donating, contact me at wtdixon3@gmail.com.
