I helped with summer feeding at We Will Go and I loved it! Summer Feeding involved making lunch for children that needed food during the summer. We Will Go has a true passion for helping and feeding children.
I absolutely love We Will Go, and the service they do for the Jackson community is truly incredible! With the duality of a food pantry and summer camp/ after school facilities, they make such an impact on the local community. Not only does the organization make an impact on those they serve but also those who help out. Volunteering here is so rewarding and fulfilling through the interactions you have with neighbors and all those involved with keeping the operation running smoothly. They intertwine faith with service and it makes We Will Go a beacon of hope and safety.
They have some of the most well organized, friendly, and supportive staff that make every person who walks through the door feel welcome. The staff who works with the children is compassionate, patient, and eager for them to succeed. They also make it really easy to get involved and see the direct effect your service has on those you serve. We Will Go is my new favorite community to volunteer with, and it’ll be my go to whenever I’m back in Jackson! 10/10 would recommend volunteering here!!
I volunteered here during the summer and I loved it! I helped kids with reading and anywhere else they needed me. Everyone at We Will Go is extremely nice and you can definitely tell everyone involved there cares so much!
WWG is amazing! I have gone to serve with them multiple times over the past three school years and have been encouraged each time I go! Whether it was helping with children that come in for a weekend play day, helping clean out office areas, planting in the garden, or helping with their food ministry, it’s been a pleasure to serve with this group that truly loves the Lord and gives it their all!
We Will Go is an amazing ministry! The love that each and every person gets there is a true reflection of Christ. I love what they do for the community and all the children they come in contact with!!

We Will Go is about sharing the gospel, being a neighbor and having a community as a family. Returning as a staff member for the camp has been the biggest blessing and has helped me grow as a Christian, friend and person. You find the love of Christ in everything they do here from the kids camp, to after school, to feeding kids in the community and giving groceries out with their food pantry. Thankful to be a part of the community that they have grown in Jackson MS.

I love WWG! It truly is a place that loves and believes in their mission. Everyone who works there believes in Jackson and sees its potential. They all have such a deep love for Lord and make such a difference. I have volunteered in every way possible and everything they do is to serve the neighborhood and share the light of God! If you ever have the opportunity to serve with them do it ! It’s such an awesome place!
We Will Go is all about family. The family atmosphere brings so much joy to a persons day. I have gone for a few of the summer camp weeks and by far they have been the best weeks of my life. Everyone who works/ volunteers is so encouraging and loving.
I had one of the greatest moment at We Will Go ministry during the summer 2023. The experiences that I had at the Camp Hope were just incredibly amazing much more than I expected. I learened a lot about loving our neighbors, teaching, counseling, communicating with child and co-workers, language, culture, and also about gospel! It was great time that taught me how to love this world with Jesus’ heart through my wonderful leaders Mr. David, Mrs. Amy, Mrs. Mariah and Mrs. Bethany, their passionate jobs and love toward these kids and toward Jesus. I really appreciate them for providing me this opportunity to participate the camp as a counselor despite the different cultural backgrounds and nation. We Will Go is very opened and welcoming for all people beyond any kinds of differences. I cannot explain all the feelings and the things I’ve learned through this camp. I am so sure that it will be continually great resources for my future life. I am just so thankful and it was such a fruitful summer at We Will Go! Thank you so much!
Having the opportunity to see the lives that are being changed by the work done at We Will Go has been a wonderful experience. It is obvious the staff is equally as passionate as they are professional in the way they approach serving those around them.

The staff at WWG love Jackson and makes everyone involved feel loved by the Lord. The staff are incredibly thoughtful in their intent for the neighbors & their kids to know the Lord as well as meet their needs. They are equally intentional to make a space for anyone to join in to what God is doing as a volunteer. I’ve been serving WWG for almost a year now and live with two staff members. I am moved every time I come to downtown Jackson. WWG truly prays and works with the Lord to see Jackson restored.
We Will Go is my favorite place to volunteer. Every time I volunteer I always feel so full and grateful after. I love getting to pray with the neighbors and provide food for them. I love playing with the kiddos and watching them learn. This place is a place to simply love the neighbors of Jackson. What a blessing it is
We Will Go is simply being and attempting to show others how to be a good neighbor. It’s the mission to engage our community with the love of Christ. Individuals and groups from all walks of life come in making an impact and leave also impacted. I’ve met some of the best people right here in a place many may overlook. I encourage anyone who’s interested, or even just thinking about it, to come engage our community. It’s a low risk event with a high impact.

I volunteered and worked the summer with We Will Go, and those moments changed my life. It’s a wonderfully tight-knit family that works hard to engage with the community of Jackson and provide, both physically and spiritually, for everyone who enters. I would encourage everyone to spend at least a day with We Will Go. I can guarantee once you experience firsthand the devotion We Will Go has for the community, you’ll be back volunteering again, maybe even bringing a friend.
Me and my family wait all year for this camp; we love everything about this camp! The full time staffers, summer internships, volunteers and last bit definitely not least our amazing God loving children! We get to celebrate Jesus I’m so many ways at camp with everyone, weather it be by Bible time, worship, crafts, playing, meals or even resting in his sweet safe haven….. His presence is definitely at we will go! Just one experience at camp and you will prepare all year long too! And this is why we love Camp Hope; it brings so much Hope in so many ways; Thanks camp Hope!!!
