Plateau Outreach Ministries (POM) is primary social services center on the Enumclaw Plateau. I started volunteering in 2014 at the Food & Clothing Bank on Wednesdays and became involved on the Board of Directors in 2015. I currently volunteer as their grant writer. POM offers three services: Food & Clothing Bank, Samaritan Services (caseworker-based aid given for rent, utilities, and other emergency services based on need), and a More Pennies From Heaven thrift store that supports all administrative costs for POM. Their service area includes the Enumclaw Plateau of southeast King County and White River Plateau of northeast Pierce County.
