A more well-run organization would be hard to find in this area. Strong, competent management, historically strong boards and committed volunteers have made this most important community asset provide badly needed facilities for those in crisis with sick kids. For many of the guests, this RMH is the nicest place they will ever stay. The close proximity to Childrens Hospital and other area hospitals make it a convenient place to stay.

Direct beneficiaries per year: In 2023, RMHC Dayton provided support to 2,544 families from 35 Ohio counties, 27 US states, and 15 countires.
Programs: RMHC Dayton offers a community of compassion, support, and the comforts of home to families with critically ill children, steps away from the medical care they need. At our programs, we care for families, including caregivers, children receiving outpatient treatment, siblings, and other family members. By easing caregivers' financial and emotional burdens and taking care of important practical needs, our programs allow families to focus on what truly matters most: caring for their child.
