Mission: The suicide and crisis center provides the community a crisis intervention resource, offering free and confidential services to help people in need. Highly trained volunteers provide crisis management, support, structure and guidance to people with issues such as depression, mental illness, family violence, child abuse, substance abuse and suicide ideation.
Programs: 24 hour telephone crisis counseling, survivors of suicide support groups facilitated by trained counselors, counseling services provided to schools and businesses affected by suicide, in-depth training provided to groups that may need to learn effective crisis prevention skills.
this is an amazing organization that help so many .. Those in Crisis; especially suicidal crisis. Has a 24 hr Hotline - an SOS - Survivors of Suicide program and a Teens Can Survive Program. Goes into the schools and find out why .. there are issues in the mental health of the students.. the Executive Director of the center is Margie Wright... Amazing

This is an amazing Non Profit that helps so many with the Survivors of Suicide program and also help pinpoint Teens that might be thinking of ending their life thru the Teens Can Survive Program. I do a fundraising event for them each year as they take no United Way or Government funding.. while helping those in Crisis especially suicidal Crisis.. It's my pleasure to help with their yearly event.. Fashion Stars for a Cause. It helps get so many involved and helps more to know about the center. Suicide and Crisis Center of North Texas is amazing and so deserved an award like this..
