Mission: The battle continues against an unseen enemy who is attacking our mind and spirit. The war we fight is not against flesh and blood. And, in too many cases, the enemy is winning. Trauma happens to us veterans during combat, serving those who were in combat or being a veteran spouse. Too often, that trauma is compounded by a series of poor decisions upon returning home. It is as if this combat trauma has reduced our spiritual defense systems and left us vulnerable to a myriad of even more dangerous life choices that may lead to addiction, homelessness or even suicide.

Serving Veterans in Park County and beyond.
I have seen first hand the remarkable change in Veterans going through the 12 week Reboot program.
Veterans helping Veterans!
Their Moto: “You are not alone”
You want candid then here goes. I was talking to no one and at my wits end. I was taking the VA’s drugs and drinking a lot. After being through over a dozen programs by the VA and others, I entered with great reservations. My wife was the motivation. It is totally led by combat veterans that have been “there”. Over the next 12 weeks we built relationships and trust. I discussed things I had never revealed to my multiple councilors or my wife. It made our marriage much stronger, renewed my relationship with a God that I was mad at and I discovered a new group of Veterans to replace the ones I lost. We continue to meet with them every week through their follow-up program. I strongly recommend this organization and group of folks to anyone needing either a lot or a little help. It’s not anything like all the other programs. My wife says they saved my life. She is right. I’m even back to leading my family like a father and husband should. My teenage kids are even starting to like me again. Bottom line is I have hope in my life for the first time in years. Check them out at downrangewarriors.org. Look at all the videos. You might see me in one of them.
What an amazing privileged it has been to see veterans and spouses healed from the trauma of life presented to so many who have volunteered to serve this country. To see the community rally around the cause with generous donations and amazing support makes me proud to be an American once again.
