I was in desperate need of a mobility device as a standard wheelchair was so difficult an he Mr.Gregory said he’d have to check an get back to me. In no time at all got his call an delivered me a scooter free of charge. I’m still using it almost a year later. If I had known I could write a review as I had just discovered this I would had. Our time in Eldoret was soul filling.
I have known the founders of Open Arms for many years and watched as they built this organization into a force for good. They are trusted by local authorities, which speaks volumes in itself, and I trust them enough that I’ve been a financial supporter for about 15 years.
Having been to Kenya to visit, first-hand, this amazing organization, I can say how impressed I was with the love, care and education of these precious, abandoned, orphaned and neglected children. You’d never suspect any of their misfortune by the huge smiles and joy exuding from their sweet faces. I will never stop supporting this wonderful organization!
I have had the great opportunity to visit the village 3 times. The work that this organization is doing is nothing short of amazing. The entire staff both there and at home a totally dedicated to helping these children grow and prosper.I have had the opportunity to go into Eldoret and seen kids having to get by on their own on the streets .They are sad with tattered clothing. Then we return to the village and see the children there happy, nourished, going to school and loved by all. The difference is night and day. I will continue to support this organization as much as I am able l. They are making great changes in these young peoples' lives.
I visited OAI 4 times. the dedication and commitment of the staff and volunteers was wonderful. Every child was supported emotionally and cared for lovely homes as a family. I was impressed by how the the village was run and its interaction with the local community, with outreach work, medical sessions, their school and church. On my final visit I took my 12 yr old granddaughter who returned to the UK a different girl following her experience at Open Arms and still takes an interest in my newsletters and letter from my sponsored Child

I have been volunteering my time and donation money for ten years. They are an amazing organization that deeply cares for the children they serve! They give the time and attention to the whole child ( food, clothing, medical, safety, housing, school, and love ) in a holistic manner. One of the most important ways they care for their children is to let them be kids without having adult responsibilities and fears of where their next meal is coming from or where they sleep that night. I am honored to have a very small part as a volunteer in all that they do for the over 150 children they serve.

I absolutely love supporting the work of Open Arms International. This non-profit is doing amazing work with children in Kenya and have been over the past 16 years. They are making a huge impact in the lives of over 160 children by providing safe homes, food, medical care, clothing and an excellent education that would otherwise be on the streets or in impoverished living conditions.
I have been involved with many relief and development organizations. Open Arms International has a unique model that rescues and raises vulnerable and abandoned children in the Eldoret, Kenya community. They provide a family - a Kenyan mother and father that love them as their own and help them discover how much they are treasured and valued. These children are truly given a future and a hope! When I went to the Village, I was overwhelmed at the quality of care and overwhelming love from the Kenya staff. Open Arms is an organization without a selfish bone in its body. Having been around their staff and volunteers, their heart is 100% geared toward bettering the lives of the Kenyan children they impact.
It takes special people to care for the least of society within an affluent country like the United States. To do so in another country that doesn't have resources to and where the least of society has far more dire issues is saintly.
The work Open Arms does is completely changing lives that were seen as less important and molding them into thriving members of society.
I am so impressed with this organization, they are doing things right. I've visited the Village several times and actually lived there 6 months on one trip. Working with Kenyan social services and Kenyan staff, Open Arms takes in abandoned and orphaned kids that otherwise would struggle to survive on the streets or in abusive situations. Open Arms also reaches out to neighboring communities with healthcare and service projects. They are changing Kenya's next generation through families, healthcare and education.
I went on mission to Open Arms in 2014. I witnessed first hand the wholistic care they give to kids who were once orphaned by placing them in families and providing for all of their needs. It is truly an organization trying to change the landscape of a whole community. I’ve been a donor ever since.
Love the way they prioritize family! The love those parents have for the kids is so evident - they're truly not orphans anymore. And the staff in Kenya are passionate about making sure each child has the love and support they need to thrive. Open Arms Village is such a special place!

I have had the privilege of going to Kenya twice to Open Arms Village. The children are loved and well cared for and their welfare is put above all else. The staff are caring and supportive of children who have come to them from unimaginable circumstances. The house parents are nothing short of angels on earth.
I won a trip to the Open Arms village in Kenya in 2014 which was honestly such a blessing. The village is wholeheartedly committed to blessing and loving children who have been through some of the most devastating circumstances. They serve these children and vulnerable children in the surrounding areas with faithfulness, love, joy, hope and generosity, as well as top-class education, beautiful homes, a medical centre and self-sustaining farm - the 2 weeks I spent at the village will be treasured memories for life.
