My mother is 100 and has been going to The Perfect Place for 3 years or so. It is absolutely wonderful. She goes 3 afternoons a week and loves every minute of it. They sing, tell stories, play games etc and it is wonderful for her to be around others who are advanced in age. The people who work for The Perfect Place could not be nicer. They are lovely people who are so good to everyone and they treat each person as though they are a special guest. I am thrilled to have such an exceptional place to take my mother.
The Perfect Place truly cares about those who attend their program. The love is shown through their dedicated employees and volunteers, making those who attend each session feel wanted and valued. They do everything they can to make each person have a happy, enjoyable time. The care givers who bring their loved ones know that every effort will be made to make it an enjoyable experience.

I have been a volunteer for many years at The Perfect Place. It truly is a perfect place, not only for our friends who attend while their caregiver gets some needed time for themselves, but also for the volunteers who enjoy watching the smiles and fun as we play card games, Bingo, balloon toss, simple exercises, and many other activities together. It is heartwarming to hear our friends say how happy they are to be with us. I can't think of a more rewarding place to volunteer or bring your loved one for compassionate care.
After moving my mother into my home, she lost contact with her friends and community. The Perfect Place is just that, it was perfect for her. Despite her hearing and visual loss, she was able to participate in the activities. The volunteers and staff are wonderful and mother loved attending the afternoon sessions. She was 94 and very active as well a very social person. This met her needs without tiring her too much. It was good to see her interact with others and hear he laugh again after being moved away from her independent living to my home.
This is the most extraordinary place! My mom who is 93 goes every afternoon and absolutely loves the people, the activities and the caring way everyone relates to her. Mom has dementia but when I pick her up each afternoon you would be hard pressed to know it. The staff and volunteers have so greatly engaged her in personal attention and activity, she comes out bright and happy and mentally alert. These folks are angels fallen from the sky. Honestly!
My wife attended The Perfect Place for about two years until she needed more assistance and eventually moved into an assisted living memory care facility. We initially stopped in and spoke with one of the directors for information. The first day we were greeted with hugs when we arrived and left, and this continued with every visit. The volunteers and staff are truly loving, helpful and accommodating. She always looked forward to going. On her birthday they had a cake with her name on it.
Santa came to visit and there was occasional outside entertainment as well as entertainment by the staff. The staff went out of their way to allow us caregivers the respite we needed to attend all day programs to help us in our situations. There was always a happy environment and if a guest did not wish to participate they were allowed to just observe. As the guests left to go home the others would yell goodby and wave. The guests really bonded with each other.
This is truly a loving, caring community which is reasonably priced. I still refer those in need to The Perfect Place. They will not be disappointed.
My mother went to The Perfect Place 2-3 mornings a week. It gave me time to get some work done and gave her some social time with her peers. She suffered from dementia but really enjoyed her time there and always came home with a smile on her face. She enjoyed the games, fellowship, and the music. She has since passed on but because this organization was such a positive influence in my life, I joined their staff. Now I can share my experience and help others who are caring for a loved one with dementia. The Perfect Place is a shining light in a very dark time.
When I retired from teaching five years ago, I had decided that I wanted to spend my retirement years doing some type of volunteer work. At first , I didn't know for whom I would volunteer , but I believe it was a blessing that I was introduced to The Perfect Place . The Perfect Place is well named, not just for the excellent adult day care services they provide, but also for the love and caring attitude they have for everyone who enters through their door. The staff has developed a close genuine relationship with each and everyone of their attendees, and I believe this is what has made a difference in the growth and progress of their program. While I know I am making a difference with my volunteer work at The Perfect Place, I have to admit , I am getting so much more in return. It is a privilege and a real pleasure for me to be a part of The Perfect Place .
In 2015, I was asked to write a book for The Perfect Place. I spent two years interviewing caregivers, whose loved ones were receiving respite care at TPP, capturing the challenges that they faced. It was an incredible journey. For all of them The Perfect Place was a god send. The hours that their loved ones were safe at TPP, were hours that they could spend doing many of the things we take for granted: sleeping, paying bills, visiting friends or just sitting quietly and enjoying the rest. Proceeds from the book help support The Perfect Place and their programs. The Perfect Place: Where Hope Lives, Love Reigns and All are Accepted is available online at amazon.com and other online retailers.
Over the last year I have had the opportunity to donate raffle items for the annual Perfect Tea fund raiser as well as attend this event and hear about the difference The Perfect Place makes in the families of the friends who attend The Perfect Place. Their tag line is "...where hope lives, love reigns and all are accepted." This truly defines The Perfect Place. In addition to caring for seniors facing memory challenges four times a year they host a fun night for the families complete with food and entertainment because it can be difficult for families to go out when one member has alzheimer's.
Five years ago I was ask if I would be interested in volunteering at Perfect Place. I had no idea what my volunteering would lead to. I have met so many warm loving people. It warms my heart to spend time with them. It amazes me when I see how much we make a difference in their lives. The smiles on their faces say it all.
The "Perfect Place" is very appropriately named! My husband who has Alzheimer's was very reluctant to go but after attending just a couple of times, was asking when he was going again! While I must admit when I visited and saw the activities, I was very skeptical and sad....however....after ridding myself of my emotions, I realized these activities were just what the attendees were able to do and enjoy...NOT what I thought they SHOULD be doing! The staff is amazing! They are exceedingly kind and very attuned to the needs and idiosyncrasies of each attendee, making all feel welcome and important. I knew when I left him there, he was in good hands and I could enjoy a few hours of desperately needed respite! My husband is currently in an all day program three days a week. I must say that while the staff is kind, they cannot hold a candle to the kindness of the lovely people at The Perfect Place!
I've been a volunteer at the Perfect Place for almost 2 years. It is amazing to watch the clients participate in the various activities. Help is given as needed to help them feel successful. The Perfect Place is somewhere each person can feel loved and good about themselves.
I look forward to going each week and giving of my time and to visit with each client.
My husband, who was diagnosed as being in the mid stages of Alzheimer's, attended The Perfect Place for a year for several half days or whole days each week. This place was truly a Godsend to me as I didn't have in-home help, and this was my only opportunity to do things for and by myself. The location was excellent for me, and the staff was wonderfully caring beyond belief. They were trained more thoroughly and better than the staff at the 2 big-box facilities that my husband was later in that I paid a lot of money for. Better yet, the staff at The Perfect Place has their hearts so into what they are doing. My husband wasn't the easiest person to care for, but volunteers at The Perfect Place knew how to keep him interested and happy. I will never forget them and perhaps someday I can join their volunteer staff when I get my life back in order after having my dear husband in 3 different homes now. He's currently in a small group home that The Perfect Place recommended, and it's going well. I can't say enough for The Perfect Place.
