Causes: Hot Lines & Crisis Intervention, Mental Health, Suicide Prevention
Mission: Foundation 2 is anot-for-profit human service agency that offers crisis prevention andintervention programs to people of all ages. We are committed to positive youthdevelopment, suicide prevention, and helping build the foundation for strongerand healthier families and safer communities for everyone.
Programs: Trained compassionate telephone counselors are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Short term appointment counseling and emergency walk-in counseling is also available. We offer support groups for persons with depression and anxiety (Depression/Anxiety Group) and for those who have lost someone to suicide (Suicide Survivor's Group). Our building also houses 2 therapists who see individuals for appointment counseling, and our After Hours Emergency Food Pantry. Mobile Crisis Outreach also runs out of the Crisis Center.
