Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Environment, Natural Resources Conservation & Protection
Mission: To foster environmental education, preserve biodiversity, and conserve natural resources in the Oneida Lake and Lake Ontario watersheds.
Results: We are currently working on weatherizing and transforming our barn into a year-round facility which will be a Community Outreach Center and Natural History Museum. We are actively seeking funding for this project.
Programs: Environmental education programs on weekends, fundraising events for the family including a Spring Migration Festival, Fall Migration Festival, Winter Hibernation Festival, Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween Fun Days, and more! We are doing a Bob White Quail reintroduction, and have five miles of trails open to the public. We are heading a group that promotes habitat management, and have a demonstration area on site.
