Jewish Women's Archive is an excellent organization that provides a much-needed platform for women's voices. They provide excellent educational resources for the lay person and the scholar alike. JWA is a truly valuable resource that deserves lots of support!

The Brookline Community Mental Health Center is an amazing community organization that provides invaluable services to the Brookline and Greater Boston Communities. A true gem, the Center is a place adults, children and youth can call their home in times of need. Having been on the Board for 4 years, I am proud to be associated with the Center and to support all of the wonderful programs the Center provides. Without the Center, so many individuals would be without quality mental health services, violence protection and educational services ... all of which are greatly needed.

I chose to donate to this organization because they do a wonderful job of providing guidance and exposure to high school students in the Arts. This population is often bullied for their differences. TMC gives them a place to feel accepted and accomplished. I have attended one of their art shows and read their magazine. Both were of the highest quality. As a donor, I felt my money was well spent and went a long way to providing access to this valuable asset in the high schools in my area.

As a public school administrator, I truly appreciate Facing History's professionalism and content. I always recommend that my teachers attend their workshops.

In January and May of 2013 I went on two trips to Tehauntepec, Mexico to teach acupuncture to a group of dedicated and enthusiastic health care workers and other interested people. I was impressed with the teaching methodology Richard had created and how quickly the students learned, despite a great range of educational backgrounds. What was most impressive that upon returning to Mexico for the second trip, hearing and seeing the successes, the real improvement in the lives of the patients of our students. We also had a lot of fun along the way and made great friends with our students.

Quezalguaque, Nicaragua is Brookine's Sister City. Over the years the project has built a health center, recently expanded with an emergency suite and birthing center, a large library, housing, a school. We also do many projects in health and education like our on-going research on renal failure in the area. Groups of volunteers from here travel to Quezalguaque to participate in projects and live with families there for periods of a week to months. <br> <br>Everything is totally volunteer, there is no paid staff and every penny raised goes towards building a better life for our sister city together.

How can you go wrong with donating to an organization that helps keep college students connected to Christ during one of the most crucial times in their lives? This organization offers non-stop aid through its plethora of Orthodox clergy nationwide, spiritually educating programming and I have not met an OCF student that didn't warm my heart and leave a lasting impression!

9/11/2011 <br> <br>The Auto Museum chose to have their annual noise and air pollution fesitival called "European Motorcycle Day" on the tenth anniversay of 9-11. <br>It is bad enough that they stage this stupid event on a Sunday morning, but on September 11th? We knew this "musuem" didn't care about its neighbors, but now it seems it doesn't car about the Country. <br> <br>The dirty little secret here is that there are very few visitors to the "museum". This supposed non-profit makes its money from noisy and polluting vehicle "lawn events" and renting space in a public park to weddings.

At the time of our loss of our infant daughter the Massachusetts SIDS Center contacted us and sent out a SIDS trained nurse to help us through our tragic time. We were given bereavement materials to read and told about the monthly support meeting that our family could attend. Statics were gathered to help find any common link between this type of infant death. follow up call took place every few months that first year.
