Mission: Band of Blue provides support to the children of Law Enforcement Officers killed in the line of duty. The support provided is unique to each situation and attempts to create a lasting bond between the surviving children and the entire Law Enforcement family. Band of Blue additionally provides Law Enforcement Officers with a source of connection to the surviving children through membership and donation. Band of Blue thrives to be the financial mechanism for donations that provide this support to the children who have suffered this unimaginable loss.
Target demographics: support to the children of law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty.
Geographic areas served: Nationwide
Programs: Band of Blue will supplement existing efforts to assist the children of officers killed in the line of duty. When an agency experiences a loss, members of these agencies rally around the surviving family. Band Of Blue strives to be a resource for these affected members to provide a unique experience to the surviving children.
