CAA has an amazing mission, helping underserved children who would otherwise not have the support they need to succeed. This mission helps attract great volunteers who deeply care about kids education and overall wellbeing making their after school and summer programs extremely valuable and impactful.
And all of this is done at NO COST to the parents or caregivers!

I spent my summer interning with this organization to run their STEM focused summer camp and it was absolutely fantastic. The kids were wonderful, the other volunteers and the administrators I worked with were all wonderful. I looked forward to going in every day and I enjoyed my time while I was there. I learned a ton. And most importantly I really connected with the kids, and they seemed to enjoy being there as much as I did. It was such a fulfilling experience and I cannot wait to continue working with CAA!

The coordinators were all extremely helpful and kind. Even during the bizarre COVID era, CAA made sure that students were able to learn and volunteers were able to do their job. This program is so nurturing and a great experience for everyone involved.

This program allows a lot of flexibility for the volunteers to create a schedule that works best for them, and permits volunteers to explore multiple aspects and roles of the program.

I volunteered for this organization over the course of the past summer as a camp counselor. In my time there I was able to see the kids learning so much, whether it be coding or reading or writing or math skills. This organization is fully committed to both the well being of the children and creating a great learning environment for them to gain knowledge. It is also a great environment to encourage a love for learning through engaging activities instead of treating it mainly as an obligation for the kids.

Children Across America is a phenomenal non-profit that helps kids learn to read, helps with math, and now a stem program! It is run primarily by the CEO, Ray Fellows, and volunteers.
Mr. Ray, as the kids call him, has a passion like no other in running this program for the kids. Many parents have said this program has helped their kids in school so much! Mr. Ray, runs a Sat morning program during the school year, and recently just finished the Summer Program which was a great success! I've known Ray for a long time, and has seen the work he has put into this. Its exceptional! He goes all out for them, and commends their respect. It is in the center of Milford, MA right in the middle of the community. These kids are our future!! A fantastic program! and its free.

The mission of Children Across America of helping children improve their literacy levels and develop a life-long love for learning, is one of the most impactful to really help children in underserved communities to raise out of poverty and not only dream of a great future, but make it a reality by giving them the tools that they need to succeed in their education and in their growth as individuals.
The passion and selflessness of their team is contagious, and children and their families don't need to pay a dime to take advantage of the many services received.

Children Across America is an awe-inspiring organization to be a part of. I feel incredibly honored to serve as a board member to help further our mission of ensuring children in low-income families are gaining the literacy and leadership skills they need to succeed in school and in life by giving them the tools necessary to live joyful, healthy, and confident lives. Children Across America encourages students from underserved families to become the best versions of themselves and grow into the leaders of tomorrow.

Children Across America's focus on helping children achieve the best version of themselves is unvaluable. Literacy (reading and maths) and health tips help these kids and families from very diverse backgrounds and etnicies be competitive, be ready to succeed. I admire the dedication of this non-profit and their generosity with everyone who wants to take advantage of the programs they offer. A big round of applause for such wonderful initiative!

CAA has helped 100s of children who are struggling in school to develop their English skills and improve their testing grades. Their services are free and the kids seem to enjoy the process. The staff is wonderful and very good with the children. As a parent, I appreciate their "safe Harbor" policy of all children needing at least 2 adults to supervise them. That gives me peace of mind that the childrens safety is their foremost concern.

I believe that Children Across America gives children from all walks of life, including underserved children, a sense of community and proven support for their development. Children Across America is the kind of organization I can be proud to support and associate with. I've winessed the on-site client services wherein a family with children comes in and the staff helps them navigate the healthcare system and/or offers preventative health services and early educational support. The ongoing programs focused on those same goals are very impressive and it is comforting to know that these kind of free services are available in a community.

My experience as a board member for Children Across America has definitely been positive. As a public employee, I serve on several other boards and use my connections to spread the good word about all of the initiatives offered by our organization to the children and families of our town and local vicinity. Strengthening and supporting health and literacy for our children is going to build stronger families and better communities.

I have been involved with Children Across America for the past 2 1/2 years. As the prior Associate Executive Director/Director of Development and now on the Board as the Director of Florida Operations, I have seen and experienced the growing pains of a start up organization yet the DEDICATION and DETERMINATION of the Board and our staff of Volunteers to provide FREE programs that address the needs of children and their families in the Blackstone Valley area of Mass. has been powerful. I have witnessed the families seeking assistance I have heard the "thank you's". I believe in Children Across America and the work being done to invest in children.... America's future.

Children Across America's (CAA) top priority is to help underserved children in the greater Blackstone valley area. It may go unnoticed by some, but the fanastic volunteers of CAA have seen the difficulties that many families in the region are experiencing and are taking action. As the President of CAA's board, I am extremely proud to represent this nonprofit organization that aims to give back to its immediate area and to do so in the right way. All of CAA's expenditures are completely transparent and CAA's goal is to utilize as much of a percentage of every dollar raised as possible towards helping the children in the local community.

I’ve served as Operations Manager for CAA since November 2011, and the organization remains true to its mission; all services are 100% volunteer-driven and the passion exhibited toward helping children and families is tangible. CAA is dedicated to building literacy, healthy eating habits, and raising awareness of preventative health measures. We turn our backs on no one, and treat the Blackstone Valley community as family…because that’s how it should be.

Children Across America is a great example of a grass roots effort to help America's. Our amazing volunteers donate their time to make sure every child has a chance to be the best person they can be. No one draws a salary or gets any monies in reimbursements, the board members spend their own money to get things done. This is definitely the most rewarding career move I have ever made.
