Causes: Education, Scholarships, Scholarships & Student Financial Aid
Mission: Fundraisers conducted throughout the year in Jefferson County provide funds for the scholarship program. These include a bbq cook-off to determine the Jefferson Co. Participant to attend the bbq cook-off at the Houston livestock show and rodeo, drawdown dinner fundraiser, golf tournament, and rodeo ticket sales. Jefferson County Go Texan, inc. It also supports the efforts of the Jefferson county area go Texan committee of the Houston livestock show and rodeo, which is responsible for providing contestants and a bbq team to participate in the Go Texan events. Each student entry qualifies for points, and if met, the top Jefferson county senior recipient selected from the Houston livestock show texas scholarship application receives a scholarship from Houston livestock show and rodeo. The remaining applicants not selected, are then considered for a Jefferson Gounty Go Texan, inc. Scholarship.
