Programs: Young adult ministries: starfish cafe, providing life and job skills for 12 individuals this year. One student graduated and is working, two withdrew from the program to pursue other interest, and the balance were terminated due to drugs and compliance with the program guidelines. Provided community outreach to those in need of food, clothing, and assistance with home and utility expenses. Provided wellness and health information workshops to the community, health related cooking classes, and complimentary health information through our community health worker in hancock county program, funded by a grant from tulane university school of public health grant. We served over 350 community members.

ray of hope- a community outreach program to provide supportive resiliency measures for individuals as referred to for the challenges of cancer, life altering illness, and accidents. Supportive measures include providing personal assistance for needs, meal preparation, peer listening and providing affected persons a place to talk about their experiences. Limited financial assistance for people experiencing financial hardship related to illness or disease. Assistance in paperwork and resource referral for financial resources. This year we helped a family get care for their autistic children by providing financial assistance for intervention and pay utility bills, helped a family get medical treatment and medication for asthma and a third family with utility assistance, prescriptions, and homeopathic treatment.

adult - life coaching, spiritual formation, mentoring, listening support, referral resources for substance abuse and health related matters. Providing community workshops on healthy living and relationships, healthy cooking classes. Starfish caf-8-20 week job and life skills training program for young adults including those with special needs. Additionally, services provided for older adults to prepare them for a job in their later years.
