I came to volunteer for this non profit and had a blast. I love the fact they are active in the community. The community give back is amazing.
Mrs. Debra Gaines and Kayla was very nice and polite they found everything that I needed I would highly recommend the community to go by Coats for Kids in the Batesville location Oh and the sitting area was really nice and warm also very welcome

I have been with MC4K over two years and I have watched the organization grow by leaps and bounds. Ms. Keys is awesome. She believes wholeheartedly in what she does and makes sure that we, the individuals who are with her, adheres to her standards. It is so exciting to see the people we help first hand and hear some of their stories. Sometimes all a person needs is a boost. And that can come in many forms. With MC4K, it's keeping people warm, a kind word, and a smile.

This organization was in our area mere days after the tornado hit. They were there all day long providing bedding, shoes, clothes, food and water. Not only was the items they were providing to us free of charge nice but the whole group representing them was as well. Keep up the great work!

Mississippi Coats 4 Kidz is a very good organization. I have been with them 18 months and have enjoyed helping people. They travel to a lot of places giving out coats to children and older people. They also give shoes and socks and sometimes they have clothes too. I love what they do and I know others do too.

I had the pleasure of going on site to one of Mississippi Coats 4 Kidz distributions. In March of this year, they went to Tutwiler, Ms to give away shoes. All shoes were new and the people were very happy to get them. I met some really wonderful people.

I've had the opportunity to be with this organization as a volunteer for six years. Over time I have witnessed MC4K deliver smiles and hope to people in many different situations: from children and adults needing coats to people affected by natural disasters. Recently I was able to go to one of the areas hit by a tornado. And to see how grateful the people were that received much needed items from MC4k was a very good feeling. MC4k Is an organization that truly makes a difference.

I met Ms. Linda some years ago through a dear friend, she has been a big help to my hometown and other communities as well. This sweet lady goes above and beyond for everyone making sure the are nice and warm during the fall and winter seasons. I can recall when her and I had our first conversation her words spoke for itself. She's has a heart for people of all ages and race. She's doesn't look at the person she sees their need and reaches their needs. Hello, my name is Leslie Holloway and I have been in the public school system for over 25 years. The need to give children everything they need is on different levels. My role as a teacher goes far beyond teaching. I am so proud that Mississippi coats4kidz is on the scene to help keep kids warm. The need is so great! More kids are absent in the winter because of not having winter attire. What we take for granted and so simply as coats, gloves and hats but to those that don't have the funds, it's not simply. This is one of the most remarkable nonprofit organization I have ever seen. The founder and the VOLUNTEERS are so nice and friendly makes you feel like someone really cares about you. I was homeless, jobless and 5 kids that needed everything. Ms Linda looked at me and smile said sweetheart its not the end of the world. She gave me hug and said "this too shall pass " I don't know what she meant but I felt some relief. My kids got coats, gloves and hats....so grateful...love MC4K...

I had the great pleasure of meeting Ms. Linda Keys in 2018. Once she began to talk, I felt as though she was someone I had know my whole life. Her love, passion, heart and zeal to do what she does for all that she comes in contact with is immeasurable. She has done great things for the entire Tate county area. Each coat given is given with a piece of her heart. She not only donate coats but offers an opportunity to connect for a lifetime. She's a true gem and we are certainly glad we crossed each others' path. We are servants and it's just good to meet servants on this battlefield of life!

Oh to have a heart. Most everyone loves a good cup of coffee and Linda Keys is no different than most. While enroute to McDonald’s to get a cup of coffee one cold November morning she saw children standing at a bus stop waiting to go to school. None of the children had coats on. Having a big Heart she pulled to the curb and asked the children to get in her car to wait for the school bus. She questioned the children about their coats and one little boy answered we ain’t got none. That touched her soul, and after talking to some people close to her she decided she would start MC4K. The rest is history, she serves numerous children in numerous northwest Ms counties with a vision of serving all (82) eighty two counties of the state. No one in the State has a bigger HEART. Linda and Her people are Great! We sent several bags of gently used coats, some of it Professional wear, from a property we emptied. I have no doubt they will be appreciated by their new owner. I am a mother of 3 boys and a wonderful husband. With things the way they are with low paying jobs and a family of 5 it is sometimes overwhelming because you want to be able to take care of your family. My husband got hurt on the job last November 2017 and things were really tight as far as funds. I had to take on a second job because we had to eat and no assistance. I saw on FB about Mississippi coats4kidz ...had to put my pride aside and ask for coats for my boys. It was at first embarrassing but Ms Keys was so easy to talk to and as I explain my situation to her I was in tears with my paperwork willing to prove to her I was in need ...Ms Keys simple said, first of all, look up there is nothing to be embarrassed about and second, you don't need to prove to me you are in need. She made my day, I felt like crying. A beautiful smile saying, what can I do for you. I said with tears flowing I need coats for my boys. Always smiling she said okay what size? I really didn't know what to say at this point, she said again what sizes... I told her the sizes and she asks her assistance please bring me these sizes in boys. OMG, this is for real. Never received anything from anyone free and new. So for some coats for your children might not be a big deal for me it was because If it had not been for Mississippi coats4kids my sons would not have had coats last winter and I am so grateful to share my story.

My baby was without a coat and l'm without a job not knowing how my child was going to get a coat for the winter a lady came up to me and tolded me about Mississippi Coat 4 Kidz her name is Linda Keys I locaked her signed some papers and my child had a coat for the winter I thank God for MC4K if I had a million dollars I would definitely give some of it to MC4K because that's how I felt when I saw my child in a new coat.
