Mission: The Barberton Community Foundation, Founded in 1996, has served the citizens of Barberton, Ohio through grants and economic development investments. Capital grants include a $36 million high school, major park improvements and renovations to the local childrens theater. Economic development investments have brought hundreds of new high paying jobs to our city. Other grants include everything from orchestra concerts with firework in Lake Anna Park to life-saving equipment for the fire department.
Programs: Grants and scholarships - provided grants totaling $2,917,037 to 42 organizations and provided scholarships totaling $302,828 to 231 students during 2014.

The ultimate goal is to serve as a catalyst for job growth and maintain housing in the city of barberton through low-interest loans to local companies and individuals and the development of industrial and commercial use property.
