Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals
Mission: Since 2014, Joyful Pets has been a safety-net for shelter animals at risk of being euthanized in the Northeast. Without our services, many animals could face imminent death. In fact, the ASPCA estimates that 2.7 million animals are euthanized each year. While this is a staggering statistic, at Joyful Pets, we and our supporters are working hard to decrease that number. Because of your support, we have successfully placed hundreds of dogs and cats with loving families in and around Amherst, Massachusetts. Our team of dedicated animal caretakers are trained in rescuing, rehabilitating, fostering and rehoming abused and abandoned animals. Each day, we work to ensure that every animal we rescue is happy, healthy, and well cared for in a temporary foster home until they are adopted. Our strong network of supporters and volunteers means that we can meet unique needs of each animal that comes through our doors.
