Causes: Health, Reproductive Health Care, Reproductive Rights
Mission: Since 1989, Real Options has led the fight to protect the most vulnerable in our society, the unborn. In the last 10 years alone, 1,620 babies have been saved from abortion because of our efforts.
Target demographics: women facing an unexpected pregnancy.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 594 clients with crisis counsel and pregnancy testing, 18,495 students with education presentations about sexual purity, 298 medicaid verifications.
Geographic areas served: Collin County and surrounding areas
Programs: Free pregnancy tests, Point of decision counseling, Pregnancy confirmation via ultrasound, Community referrals including adoption and prenatal care, Screening for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) & treatment, After abortion care and On-going counseling provided by LPC’s/LPCi’s and through our partnership with Meier Clinics.
