The Vallejo Symphony was formed in 1931 as community orchestra and became a professional orchestra in 1983. During its professional era it has executed its mission of taking music to school age children and making fine, live music accessible to senior citizens through deep ticket discounting, as well as providing personal appearances by its many talented musicians. The Vallejo Symphony has several community partners that include a high school, recycling program, local merchants, and several media sponsors. The Symphony enjoys the respect of the greater San Francisco Bay Area music community and patronage from individuals throughout the region.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

When we've gone into as many a twenty schools per year to present musical programs. The number of senior center members attending concerts has gone up, as well as the number of families attending concerts.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

We are in the process of presenting ourselves on other platforms...concerts are rebroadcast on local radio/internet, but we need to move to local TV, and possibly other venues.
