Tech Corps did a nice job of offering many different selections of summer courses to our students in Lorain County. They were professional in handling the student application process and communication with parents. I'm looking forward to more opportunities with them in the future.

My son really enjoyed the Tech Corp Program. It helped him confirm as to what he wanted to go to college for. He took part in the Summer Internship program with Tech Corp. With the hands on experience with REAL world issues when regarding programming, helped him to narrow down what field he wants to study. His choice is with Computer Forensic Science with a minor in Criminology. All because of this program. I love it and recommend that more students become a part of it.
My son was also amazed how he became a part of the review in the Columbus Dispatch Paper over the summer.
My youngest daughter participates in their programs... She is entering her second year and she continues to be excited about the program and staff! As one of the youngest girls participating, I'm always pleased to know how she feels comfortable and confident in the work she is doing with TECH Corps!
Tech Corps, what an amazing organization! The knowledge, and kindness they offer their students is phenomenal. Both my son, and daughter have participated in after school STEM programs through Tech Corps. Our daughter is in WiE TECHie, and has decided to think of a future in Engineering. The confidence Tech Corps has brought to our daughter has been amazing. I will forever be grateful for meeting Miss. Carla Thompson, she has really inspired Heidi, and has the most infectious smile. To give young people the gift of STEM is priceless.
I have been a business partner with Tech Corps since 2004. We have served over 1,000 youth by providing summer employment opportunities, workforce development skills, and – more importantly – technology skills (through hands-on application). We have a number of students that graduated from high school and have continued in the technology career paths. Tech Corps programs is a great asset to Columbus City youth!
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I cannot think of anything that I would change. The organization is always updating their programs to make it relevant and user friendly.
