This is the cure to our current education demise in Florida and possibly the entire country; Take Stock in Children involves all entities.
Take Stock in Children engages the public sector through the legislature, volunteers and community involvement.
The private sector involves their workforce to mentor, their funds purchase tuition scholarships and support to nurture and guide the needy at risk student population.
The students and parents sign contracts to do the right thing and ensure their children reach their brightest potential in school and community.
In the 16 years of service there have been 17,000 students given the great opportunity to achieve post secondary education and to enter the workforce as viable citizens who volunteer and give back.
These students produce positive results as young adults and do not become a burden to society.
This is what we all hope and wish for out next generation regardless of background...it's all about opportunity!

I have had a wonderful experience with the organization. I have mentored three students who have completed high school and are in college and I have high school senior this year. The program has also accepted my best friends daughter into the program and I am so happy to see someone in my personal life be able to go to college and benefit from such a wonderful program.
