SAGE provides some of my elderly clients with much needed services. The most impressive in my opinion is the GPS program and the wonderful Nurses that provide guidance to the many seniors that need it. The Spend-A-Day program is also run by wonderful staff and allow seniors to age in place and with grace. I will definitely keep supporting SAGE and the wonderful programs they provide hand-in-hand with my home care company's services.

Mission: SAGE Eldercare is a unique community resource that offers a comprehensive array of programs and services for older adults and caregivers, promoting independence and quality of life. Our vision is that we will be the leading provider of innovative services and programs that meet the changing needs of older adults and families. In achieving our mission, SAGE operates with the following core values: Advocacy, Care, Compassion, Dedication, Integrity, Professionalism, Service, and Stewardship.
Target demographics: older adults and caregivers
Direct beneficiaries per year: 7,000 older adults and caregivers throughout Union, Essex, Morris, and Somerset Counties, as well as across the United States.
Geographic areas served: New Jersey
Programs: our Spend-A-Day Adult Day Health Center, HomeCare, Meals On Wheels, Grocery Shopping and Errand Service, GPS (Guidance, Planning and Support) Services, InfoCare, SHIP Medicare, Support Groups, Fall Prevention Initiatives, Exercise Classes, and Community Education Programs. We also provide ways to give back through our Resale Shop, Furniture Restoration Workshop and volunteer program.
