We adopted our fur baby, Razz, in July 2012. He is now nine years old and is our family!!! I have referred friends who have adopted as well. We all had the same excellent experience!!!!
Richardson Rescue is a top-notch animal rescue! After adopting one dog from them, I became a donor. Eventually I adopted a second dog from RR, one that they'd had since he was rescued from a kill shelter with the rest of his litter. He was with them for six years because there just wasn't anything notable about him -- a black, short-haired pit mix. But they never gave up on him, and when he and I met I knew I had to bring him home. I'm so glad they never gave up because he may be the best dog I've every had -- a perfect gentleman, loving, and well-behaved. I'm so glad he waited so that I could be the one to adopt him!

I began following the rescue a few years ago through another friend's link on Facebook. Although I now live in the NC mountains, I am from the Charlotte area. My previous, beloved dog was from a similar small rescue in Rock HIll, SC,and my current pet is from a small rescue in the Atlanta area. I followed the plight of some rescue doggies with particular needs and donated modestly to this rescue. Richardson does an excellent job of posting specific needs for specific animals and they are timely with updates and feedback. I so much appreciate the humane work they do. Sometimes, both the funds and the personal stories get lost in larger organizations. Richardson is one of the best!
This rescue is fantastic! We adopted our "Cookie" from there navy treats ago! We still donate and visit regularly to help when we can. They truly care about the animals while there and after they are adopted. They are the first organization I recommend web friends are looking for fury friends!

It says that Richardson Rescue is A Happy Place. That statement could not be more true, which is why we continue to donate to them. Each and every time we visit, the pets are running and playing, interacting with visitors, and are genuinely happy. We love coming to visit and have been loyal supporters of the rescue for many years, because of the work they do. This Rescue operates on a shoe string budget and still manages to make magic happen. We have seen pets come in that were terrified, left on the side of the road, abandoned and lonely and with the care and compassion the Staff has, be adopted out as healthy, happy, well socialized family pets. The Staff is truly amazing!!
We would encourage everyone to support Richardson Rescue's excellent work by donating. They work very hard and need donations. We will always be there to help them and hope you will too!! GREAT JOB!!!
