I have partnered with provideInc since its earliest days and continue to be an active partner because of Lori’s passion, commitment, and integrity for this non-profit to have the greatest impact possible, within her community and expanding across the globe. Lori’s passion to involve our community in the gift of providing to others through so many amazing initiatives—from collecting & delivering soccer balls for youth in other countries to bra donations for Free the Girls, from assembling holiday stockings for soldiers to packing Easter baskets for the homeless, from constructing shoes for children living in garbage dumps to sewing capes for children undergoing chemo treatments—all of this has had such a massive impact in our community, and in my own family. My young grandchildren have had the opportunity to serve alongside other families through provideInc, and they can’t wait to be able to serve again. They’ve learned to give openhandedly and with a grateful heart. Lori has such a profound commitment to excellence in all that she does, and it certainly shows through her well-organized events, her thorough and timely communication, and her fantastic organizational skills. Personally speaking, watching Lori live out her passion and serve others with such integrity makes this a non-profit that I want to be a part of for years to come.
Lake Orion United Methodist Church has hosted and participated in many Provide Inc. events over the past several years. Not only are the causes relevant and so worthy of attention, the events are so well thought out and organized. I have always been impressed by the collaboration between people and organizations to collect items for larger projects. I love the way Provide Inc. brings people together from the community and beyond to serve together in such a wonderful way. Everybody is welcome and encouraged to participate whether you are 5 or 95 years old. I can't wait to see what is next!
