When I first stated going to Project Share I was so overwhelmed with all the food and the most caring people I've ever met. They made me cry with all their kindness ,smiles and their have a blessed day and even get a hug from time to time. They all made me feel like a real person they all go the extra mile. They are the same today as they were the first time I was there I'm so thankful for Project Share and their staff and all the volunteers and for all the food I receive each and every month

Project SHARE is awesome in the way that they network with other agencies. CAN-STRUCTION gives an annual opportunity to work with the Feed My Sheep ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Central PA.

We became familiar with Project Share through our church. Our church donates food and money towards this amazing, amazing organization. We have heard testimony from those who have benefitted from Project Share and they cannot say enough good things about Project Share. They treat everyone with dignity and respect and they fight for those people in need. Various groups from my church have had the opportunity to sort food and get it ready for distibution and it's amazingly organized.

For ten years I have lived in Carlisle, and before that thirty years in nearby Boiling Springs. I have known Project Share since in its inception. Its founder, Ms Livas, is an actual paragon. Project Share is a power for good. It provides direct and significant benefits to people in our Carlisle community.

For me Project Share’s mission is simple and basic: eliminate hunger in our Carlisle community. Uncertain mathematics aside, one numerical figure is well established nationally - twenty percent of our children and seniors endure hunger every day. Think about that for a moment.

Project Share programs not only distribute food, but also provide educational cooking and nutrition classes. I personally want to thank Project Share volunteers for your time and wide-ranging knowledge and experience. It is a sizable commitment. Yet I hope you find the results are far more rewarding than most other volunteer positions. Without your support, Project Share will not thrive and improve.

MORNING MOTIVATION. www.projectshare.net
I enjoy volunteering in the office of Project Share food bank. I retired over a year ago and needed something to keep me motivated and I certainly found my comfort zone. I meet people who need help and those who donate food to help others. I also answer the telephone and answer questions or direct calls is very rewarding knowing I am helping someone. I've always done public service work and love helpng people. Project Share meets people of all walks of life. There are hundreds of clients that come for food every month and everyone has a story. I listen and sometimes that's all these people need to make their day. I can encourage them and it also makes my day. The staff and volunteers I work with are all very sincere in their positions and that's what makes this a special place to volunteer. It 's so incredible how the community comes together in support of Project Share. Over 1100 families will receive a turkey and all the trimmings plus more this month and this would not be possible without the communities donations. We are so blessed and so am I.
