PAWS is a great rescue they do amazing things. They give homeless and abandoned dogs medical care and foster them in loving volunteer homes until the perfect family comes along and adopts them. These people are angels and warriors.
Mission: PAWS' mission is to prevent cruelty to all animals by promoting humane standards through education and example, to provide care and shelter for homeless animals, aid in the reduction of domestic animal overpopulation, and aid in the enforcement of laws, including the investigation of animal cruelty and abuse. Our main goal is to provide the best possible care for the animals while in our custody and finding them new permanent, loving homes. Our attempts to place homeless animals into good homes help not only the animal but also provide a new owner with a loving companion and possibly a memorable life experience.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Rescue and rehome over 100 animals
Geographic areas served: Anywhere we are needed
Programs: PAWS concentrates on promoting public awareness regarding animal welfare issues, pet health care, disaster preparedness, and most importantly, the necessity of spaying and neutering. We visit local schools, churches, and civic organizations in an effort to educate the public about what they can do to help the nationwide epidemic of pet overpopulation.
PAWS also takes a role in rescue operations during a national disasters and we assist with large scale hording and cruelty cases.
In addition, we have education programs for kids in schools and a therapy pet program in hospitals and nursing homes.

I need HELP. Recently had surgery. My Dane Pups surprised me with thirteen little one. Large breeds mate young! I have completed shots and spay on females. Only have three that need a home quickly. A Blond female and a Blonde male and a Brown male. Please!
PAWS is versatile. I adopted 2 horses from PAWS. I drove from Northeast Texas because Prima made everything so easy. I was uncertain about becoming a horse owner after not riding for 30 years. One of my horses was injured when I adopted him. Prima helped me take care of him and find a vet. We ride all the time now. I have had both horses for over a year now. Prima helped us see what a great fit we were for each other. My horses are the best. PAWS is great. And Prima is fantastic.
Prima is amazing! I was blessed to be able to adopt our sweet Roxie from her as well as help when I can with her efforts. I just wish I could give more.
