Mission: In schools, on film, and in action The Nobelity Project is a place to explore global issues and discover ways to effect positive change. By connecting hands, hearts, and minds we believe we can all be part of a better way.
Results: 3 feature documentaries, 50 short films, 17 community school projects in Kenya and one full high school. It's been a busy few years for us. Our goals for 2013 include 50,000 trees planted in fire-ravaged areas of Texas and deforested lands in Kenya, continued support of school and community projects, and many more chances to tell the stories of people around the world doing good work.
Target demographics: We partner with communities to carry out innovative solutions to local challenges, and to share their inspiring stories.
Direct beneficiaries per year: over 20 community partners impacting thousands of young people and their families
Geographic areas served: Kenya, Honduras, Mexico, Ecuador, Nepal and the US
Programs: Nobelity In Action--supporting environmental, health, and education initiatives helping communities bridge the gap in funding and implementation. Nobelity In Schools--engaging students in the US in issues that effect their futures and providing service opportunities that prove the local acts have global impacts. Nobelity On Screen--producing short and feature length documentary films that raise people's awareness on these issues and move them to action.
