Mission: The Lucy Daniels Center helps children live emotionally healthy lives through in-depth evaluation and treatment, family involvement, and education.
Target demographics: Children birth to age 11 who are experiencing social and emotional challenges, as well as more typically developing children.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 700 children and families, providing over 20,000 hours of direct mental health services
Geographic areas served: Research Triangle Region: Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Pittsboro
Programs: Three school-based programs serve children ages 2-7 with mild to severe emotional health challenges. Our on-site clinic provides evaluations, treatment, and medication management for children through age 11, and we also offer an in-home therapeutic treatment program for children up to age five from low-income families.
