When I heard of the GATE PRC I was thrilled to know such place existed. From the time I arrived the entire experience was wonderful. The lady at the front desk greets you with a big smile and warm welcome. The directors and manager are warm and friendly as well. The coaches are very helpful and knowledgeable. I left wanting to come back as soon as possible.

GATE PRC has a great staff and volunteer base that has a heart for the unborn child, the mother and father, they offer individual classes from 1st trimester until birth and beyond. They want to see these parents succeed by helping them with their GED, finding a job; getting the supplies they need for the baby. They not only have classes for the mom, but for the dad, called Dad Strong; they also offer post-abortion classes for anyone seeking forgivness called "Saved One". I am so glad to be a part of this non-profit.

9 years ago there was a vision of a crisis pregnancy center in Harrisburg NC. Our center has grown and we have had to relocate to a larger location to help women in a crisis pregnancy situation. Why is it a crisis? Economic, teen pregnancy, a grandmother that has custody of their grandchild, a single dad, foster parents..many reasons, GATE is a place were we offer help, support, a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on and referrals to other agencies. I started out as a volunteer and now I am the assistant director. We have open hearts to help those in need.

GATE pregnancy resource center is an organization that is TRULY dedicated to supporting our community; their support goes beyond assisting ladies throughout pregnancy-they know these ladies and babies by name and are available for advice, a shoulder to cry on, clothing for moms and siblings-There is not enough space to write it all in here. I have volunteered here on an as needed basis and I am always astonished at the blessings I receive upon walking in the door here. "We love you" and hugs are freely given-our community is a better place to live because of GATE.

GATE is a loving and caring place for women to come together and find help and information about their pregnancy and/or their baby. A place where they can learn, laugh and share about life as a mom. Anything a new mom would need for her baby (up to one year old) is available to her family. Even though I have only been here a short time, I can see that everyone here has a heart for these ladies and their family.

Gate is a wonderful organization to help mothers who need a place to go for support during their pregancy journey. They will help the mother develop a unique plan to guide them over the next 9 months, and assist with not just the emotional needs of the mom but can provide or find resources for the physical things a new parent may need.
