We also had a relaxation room where patients could receive soothing facials or relaxing hand and foot massages outside of the hospital room environment. FIM also has a children's outreach, All About Us Kids, which served the children at Phoenix Children's Hospital and Maricopa Integrated Systems, seeing the child from the burn unit and all other childhood diseases. AAUK pampered the children and their mothers, provided them with toys, manicures, and games.

Geographic areas served: Phoenix-metropolitan area

Programs: Provide a monthly "In Celebration of Life" Tea Party for the Cancer Patients, where hundreds of patients have found a day away from the medical worries, meet new friends, and truly celebrate life.

What an amazing organization to help anyone with cancer. And I mean anyone women, men all different type of cancer doesn't matter. What matters is the Love and resources they provide in so many ways. I continue to attend the tea parties where we who are survivors and we are all survivors of cancer can connect with others. And love that we can tell others on this cancer journey of this great resource. I would give this organization an A+ for the things I have seen for many many years. The smiles they put on faces is precious, no money can buy that but without donation how can they continue to provide so much. I thank the founder Barbara MacLean for keeping her promise to her sister Charlotte and changing the Face of cancer. To make others see the beauty of who they are with the gift of Love, Support and Hope.

Many not for profits are out to make a difference - but this one stands above them all! Folks do not have to come to them for help... folks do not have to seek them out... THEY come to those NEEDING the help and what a help they are! In a world centered around hussle and bussle these folks take the time to STOP, and TOUCH the human at what may appear to be the worst time of their lives!

We need more foundations as this.. one that cares about the people it services much more than that mission or foundation itself.

Thank you! So beautiful to hear a daughter say the words for her mother and to know somehow we touched you by being there for your mom. If we can continue to be a part of her journey just let us know. Again, thank you! Please stay in touch and join us at our teas if you can :) xx Barbara.

Our first contact with Face in the Mirror occurred as our cousin was suffering from cancer. We spent each Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings with her. On one specific Wednesday morning she seemed to be more chipper than usual. We found out the reason for that was Carina, from Face in the Mirror was coming. We saw the whole thing, the expectations of the patient before, the massage during and the after glow. What a marvelous gift this was. One that I will never forget.

As a cancer patient myself, I have also received gifts from Carina and want you to know they are greatly appreciated.

Face in the Mirror is a wonderful foundation and deserves your support.

Dear Terry. Thank you for your most important confirming and supportive words. I felt all warm inside reading them. Not only did we help you, but also your cousin. I pray you both are improving daily and one day soon will be free from this challenge you have had to face. Know we are there if and when you need us. And the tea is our way to support you and your cousin monthly. Hope you continue to remain in touch. Thank you again for taking your time to write your heart. xx.expecting your miracle Barbara
