Programs: Community access provides support and gives a voice to adults and youth who traditionally have had little support and no voice in society. We help people with housing,life skills training ,vocational skills and employment,health maintenance,money management,socialization,education,crisis intervention,civic activities and community integration.
community access unlimited provides routine non-medical assistance to adults with disabilities who are employed, involved in community volunteer work or attending school. Personal assistants help with tasks such as light housekeeping, bathing, dressing, preparing meals, shopping, driving or using public transportation.
community access provides a structured support environment for youth aged 13-21, including progressive housing-group home, supervised transitional living, semi-independent living and supported independent living-life skills training, including budgeting, home skills, career planning and job placement; advocacy and leadership development; drug and alcohol awareness; and case management.
community access supports include supervised apartment living,emergency supervised housing, and in-home supports. An initial intake includes health,education and skills assessments,living preferences,and community and social support inventories. We take the results and craft individualized support plans. We follow up with individualized training and supports including budgeting,money management,food shopping,menu preparation,cooking,household maintenance,personal grooming and travel training. We also provide opportunities for socialization and relaxation through our recreation programs.
