As a 39 year-old gay man I have struggled all my life to meet 'the one' with whom I can share my life. But my struggles with meeting other like-minded single gay men pale in comparison with living in a world that wants for me to be stigmatized & discriminated against- all because I'm single. AtMP is the first & only non-profit that I've encountered that not only celebrates & advocates for fair economic and social policies that benefit couples and singles alike, but also works to tackle a much harder goal- creating a world where we're defined as individuals first and foremost, not based on our relationship status. AtMP's mission may seem eclectic, yet considering that a large percentage of the adult American population is, in fact, single- it's not actually far-fetched. We need grassroots organizations like AtMP to advocate for the interests of single adults & non-traditional committed couples, and AtMP needs us- please support this vital organization!
